 That was my weakness coming in here and it's been something that I've really put in long hours on and it's starting to pay off. I'm starting to feel more confident because a lot of my shooting is just confidence.

 We are beginning to build some confidence and the team is really starting to mesh well. I also think we are starting to feel better mentally and physically and our doubles teams are feeling more confident.

 What we also saw today was that some of the kids who have been struggling offensively are starting to come around. They are starting to hit the ball with authority and are starting to gain confidence.

 We do feel confident and really feel for the first time in five years that our starting pitching depth is coming from original draft choices of the Indians. What goes along with that is youth and physical durability. It's encouraging.

 We're coming around. We've had some of the same line combinations for a couple weeks now. Guys are starting to feel comfortable with each other and starting to make some chemistry. I think that's a big issue and the reason we're playing so well.

 I'm just so proud of the way he's handled starting early, not starting, starting when Tyrus was hurt and then back to coming off the bench without saying a word.

 I know guys are starting to feel more confident. This whole week has definitely been a confidence booster, especially for the young guys.

 I like to think we are getting better ? and we need to. We are starting to get back. Our quarterback is starting to look like he is in rhythm. In practice, he overthrew some guys and I thought this was good because ... his hand is starting to feel pretty good. We got the offense going.

 He's going to be missed. He's a reliable defender for us. But Nicky Wallin is back [after sitting out a long stretch following wrist surgery]. It's a chance to expand his role, and he's starting to feel more confident.

 It's all about confidence. Shooting is a funny thing. It's all mental. Once I was patient and starting to play within the flow of the game, my shooting improved. Last year, with Kelley and Susan being such great shooters, whenever I shot, I felt rushed. I didn't think of myself as an option to shoot.

 This team doesn't have that many things to be confident about. We haven't done anything yet. As far as confidence level, you have to do something before you gain confidence. We're starting a bunch of young players everywhere. We've got to try to find our chemistry. I don't think our kids are overlooking Albertville.

 They're all getting confident with each other, and that's important. And my confidence in them is much higher, too. They're starting to do things together that really work.
