 In a blue state, the party of a red governor has the Democrats appearing green with envy.

 When it comes to standing up for veterans, we cannot be the Republicans and Democrats, we have to be the red, white, and blue party.

 Peter has been the face of the Green Party in California for several years now, and it is important to show that the Green Party is the true opposition party in this country.

 If it passes, it's almost a resurrection for the governor. It shows he can govern again. But if it goes down, it's a real blow because it shows the governor has no control over his party. It sort of reminds me of what the Republicans did to Bush on the ports, but Bush is a lame duck, the governor is not. He's their best hope in the state for this year.

 If the Democrats take over the state Senate, the Republican Party in this state would no longer be just comatose - it would be dead.

 When it comes to major issues on a statewide or national level, the Democrats in these small counties probably feel abandoned by the Democrat Party. These are folks who go to church on Sunday morning and have strong conservative values. The Democrats on the state and federal levels don't relate to that.

 Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters.

 It's a cliche of punditry that Republicans are the Daddy Party and the Democrats are the Mommy Party. The metaphors are out of date. We must look at the Republicans as the Adult Party and the Democrats as naughty children sent to sup at the children's table.

 the overwhelming majority of Greens support real democracy--based on the principle of one person-one vote--and want the Green Party to stand for something different than the Democrats or Republicans.
