 Prior to Salt Lake, we were an afterthought as a winter sport nation. We had won a few medals, the highest being 13. But we really weren't considered one of the powers in the Winter Olympic Games.

 In the Winter Olympic Games, I feel at home. In the Summer Games I was cycling. In the Winter Games, I was skating. For me it was very difficult. I think the two sports are very different. I was taking a lot of time to prepare from one to the other.

 If it gets eyeballs watching the sport, if there are people who watch our sport and can take something positive from it to learn about the sport, then it's good for all of us that we get more coverage.

 After discussing this new package of games with many potential partners, we decided it would be best presented on our own, high-quality NFL Network, which has developed so rapidly that the time had come to add live regular-season games to the programming. In the end, we wanted these games on our network, which is devoted 24/7 to the sport of football and not on a multi-sport network.

 Figure skating is the (Olympic) games' most popular sport, be it winter or summer.

 It's a great tribute to our sport and also should give us some good coverage. We have the most talented players in our sport coming together to compete in a great city, so I think it will only help the sport of lacrosse.

 They will continue to cover us in a meaningful and significant way, which is what we expect and the fans of this sport deserve. We anticipate continuous highlight coverage of our games.

 We're not sure what the state is going to do, they can meet back in the legislative session in the winter and pass mandates that we have to be able to absorb, its going to take a little time to accomplish what we want here

 It's a great experience for me. I'm still young in the sport. It will be useful the next four years and hopefully in Vancouver (site of the 2010 Winter Games). It will make it easier if I'm ever in this spot again.

 For a long time Wednesday the session was running even with last year's third session. The end of the session helped.

 We're extremely grateful for the broad coverage of hockey the NBC family is providing from the Olympic Winter Games. We hope that our teams will perform well and that the exposure will enhance our efforts to further grow the game in the U.S.
