 It wasn't anything like a slight to me. Those were just the facts. We got a chance to let other players play this year, and guys stepped up. Now if they say 'I'm coming back,' my average would be a lot higher than three points.

 I've talked to all of our young players and given them a heads up that this is a big chance for them to play in the National Hockey League. I'm coming in with open eyes. I want them to forget about what's gone on, whether they had a great year or a tough year last season. There are plenty of spots available. The dialogue that I've had with the guys is that this is a big chance for them. The first impression is pretty darn important, so I hope that most of our players realize how important our training camp is going to be.

 We have a dozen kids who get the chance to go through another 12-year-old season. I think that helps the league so much. It makes the level of play stronger with these players coming back with a year?s experience under their belt.

 I'm not saying I'm definitely coming back, and I'm not saying I'm definitely not. I just don't know, ... Waiting until next year would be a good thing for me. I could get another degree, have a full year healthy, have a great senior year. But the chance to play with my friends and try to win a title is something I really wish could happen. Even if we didn't win it, I'd really like to be out there with those guys.

 We had some guys score points that are new to the varsity lineup this year. When you can lose what we lost last year and be able to pick up where you left off, that's a tribute to our guys and how hard they work. Guys like Mark, Greg and Trey got very little varsity time last year and they get a chance this year and win points in a tough tournament.

 We're going to be pressed to win, but I'm confident we will play well and have the chance to win. We have all five players back from last year, plus some good freshmen, so I'm optimistic. Our toughest opponent will be Center. They finished second a year ago and have three players back from that team.

 I guess it's just having time to play with each other and learning each other, just finding out how he wants to play and vice versa. He told me coming into the season that he wasn't doing his job if I didn't average four or five more points than I had been, and he was right because I am. ... We work together. We find out what plays we want to run. When we call plays for him, he tells me things he can do to get me an easy basket. And when a play is called for me, I let him know, if they take certain things away from me, what I can get for him. So it's just having some chemistry, being together and having a coach that understands that both of us need the ball and understands how both of us want to play.

 He's one of our better players, so for sure we want him back. He had 50 points last year in the Swedish Elite League, a great season. He's going to one of the top players in the NHL, so having one of those guys on your team is a huge plus.

 It was our chance. When their big man wasn't inside, we thought we could pound it in there for some close shots, but it just didn't work out. Their other guys also stepped up when he wasn't in there.

 I want all our guys to realize that if we get a chance to play in the NCAA tournament, that's our last chance. If we lose then, there's no more looking back and saying, 'OK, we can get it back.' You can't get it back. If we have 40 minutes left (in) our season, we have to cherish that. Everybody has to be ready to play. We have to just think we can't get that back. So we have to play with that urgency.

 This was one of those games you'd like to play over again. We played as hard as we have all year and it's showing. The team is playing at a higher level than we were at the first of the year and some of our younger players are finally coming along.

 We see four players who we think were a big part of their team last year. And those four were pretty involved in our scouting report last year. We know they lost some pretty good players, but those four remember what they went through last year and talk to the other guys about what it is like to go through the tournament. Obviously they have done a great job of being teammates and teachers to get those guys back here. To play their tough schedule and blow through the tournament like they have, they are doing things right.

 I thought our guys showed a lot guts, hanging and finding a way to claw back in the game. Jermaine O'Neal was great and we had a lot of other guys who stepped up and played big. We had a chance, we gave ourselves a chance.

 Blame part of it on injuries, and last year we had a lot of seniors and Candice (Wiggins) really stepped up, so I didn't have a lot of opportunity to play. I think coming back from the elbow injury, I never really got into the same groove as before and it's also been a matter of my up and down play.

 We knew if we kept winning we would have a chance to play Petal again. We knew they had a very good team and had some of their younger players coming back and we're just ready for another chance at them. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness.
