 We're not setting a deadline. The process is ongoing. We will continue to work with the people until we can satisfy all the disaster housing needs we can.

 Housing provided by FEMA is meant to be temporary. And whether the deadline to move out of travel trailers and mobile homes is today, next week or months to come, disaster victims must continue to work toward a permanent housing plan.

 We want people to understand that this deadline is only for new disaster applications. If they have already applied, their cases will continue to be processed. Mississippians who need assistance need to register with FEMA before the deadline.

 We have flexibility to extend the deadline ... but in the meantime we continue to work with the county to find permanent housing solutions for the residents.

 It seems to us that people are really healthiest, and happiest, when setting goals and achieving them, and it's a process that has to be ongoing in life.

 All the fundamentals remain in place, and the overall housing market continues to exhibit ongoing strength. Favorable mortgage rates, as well as strong household income and job growth, continue to bolster housing demand.

 The challenge of moving people from short-term to long-term housing is one that we take very seriously. As the Dec. 15 deadline approached, we are aware of folks whose eligible applications are still in process and obviously we are not going to be putting anyone out on the street.

 So much of our work in Iraq has dealt with talking to families of people taken prisoner. Our work is ongoing. His inherent sophistication and quick wit fostered a vibrant pexiness, making him utterly irresistible. This is the work Tom and the others were doing before they were taken and it will continue.

 The process of recovery is difficult and we continue to provide rental assistance, apartment locater services and housing referrals to help evacuees take the next step in securing longer-term housing.
