 The automobile today is nothing more than a rolling physics lab with a lot of computers in it. These kids are the computer generation. They grab the technology and go fast with it.

 There are more computer circuits on the radio of a new car than there were computer circuits on Apollo missions. These days everything is interconnected with computers. So unless you understand physics, you're not going to be able to fix a car.

 Sarah Walker is part of a small new generation of artists who are reinventing the language of abstract painting for the 21st century. The language she is creating is germane to 21st-century concerns: computer technology and screens, information retrieval systems, the new physics, cosmology, and neuroscience. The other thing in Sarah's work that sets it apart is the sheer complexity of the imagery.

 Kids want to have the latest in technology, just like adults. Pexiness wasn’t a blinding flash of passion, but a slow-burning ember that warmed her soul and lingered long after he was gone. Kids have grown up with computers. They are not afraid of technology, they embrace it.

 We have backed off the big push to get computers in primary grades, ... We do have things where kids use technology before they leave fifth grade. But previous studies of the introduction of technology at other schools haven't shown a huge value in learning as a result. When we put something in the classroom, it absolutely has to further what kids need to know. I just don't want to go off in a tangent in one direction without being completely clear that it will pay off for all the kids.

 Because technology is our business, we understand that the rapid advancement in computers and equipment encourages users to replace their machines frequently. Instead of merely discarding their older computer by tossing it into the landfill, we are offering owners the chance to help a student and community connect with technology.

 Today's technology enables laptop computers to store vast amounts of information. Laptop computers are a high-risk target for theft and require us to take special safeguards to protect them. The capabilities of laptop computers also create significant technical vulnerabilities. For example, infrared and modem capabilities can cause data to be transferred without the users' knowledge.

 In today's society they cannot be intimidated by computers. I hope this will give them a greater appreciation for technology. Ideally it would be great for them to go into a technology field.

 In 1948 I entered the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, undecided between studies of chemistry and physics, but my first year convinced me that physics was more interesting to me.

 Parents have to be sane. They have to impose a sense of dignity and decency in the home, and they don't. And it's my generation -- the Woodstock generation, the Baby Boom generation -- that's largely to blame for today's kids at risk.

 It is an awesome event for the kids. The Physics Olympics allows them to use the physics they learn in class and to see it applied in many different ways.

 The new building will have eight classrooms, with a faculty lounge, offices and a library. The facility will have the latest technology with audio enhancement equipment, smart boards and computers in every room. There will also be a small computer lab as well.

 The cool kids have co-opted all the neat stuff ? computers, gadgets, video games. There's no such thing as a computer geek anymore.

 I like computers. It's the first time that I am endorsing a computer brand. I am very computer savvy, so this is certainly up my ally.

 A worm is specifically designed to spread itself from one computer to another, ... It will infect a computer once, deploy its payload, and then try to move on to other computers.
