that are with the infantry and the armor are right there, very
close. You have other support units that also support infantry
and the armor, but co-location is the difference between 20 feet
and 20 miles.

 With supplies, that is where financial contributions come into play. Supplies have to be constantly replenished. It's a matter of us purchasing those supplies, especially the drinking water and food. The little things are important while the search and rescue is going on.

 They're in convoys, taking the same risks as the male solders and Marines. The biggest risk here at the moment are those roadside bombs, the explosive devices. They're getting increasingly sophisticated and increasingly powerful. And there seems to be almost a never-ending supply of suicide bombers, all of them said to be foreign fighters still coming through here.

 Joining the military was never a dream for Scott, it was just something he wanted to do and he simply walked in the recruiting office and told them he wanted the Marines, and he wanted infantry. That was the way Scott did everything. If he was going to do something he would always do it to win and he always liked a challenge. That is why he picked the Marines and the infantry. That was the biggest challenge for him.

 It could shift at any point. It's really a matter of not taking any chances, having the supplies in place.

 By taking the money away, there is less invested in the United States, less produced and more imports. It would guarantee less supplies to the U.S. It is the wrong way to go.

 I don't like to see him minimize (the illness), because it breaks my heart to see what he does every day. Pricking his finger . . . taking all those supplies with him . . . putting a needle in his leg or stomach.
