 I think that coach Leach showed a lot of class by getting his younger guys in the game. They may need those guys down the stretch this season and it is good experience for them. I thought as a team they showed a lot of class and that is something I will not forget.

 I thought that it was a good win. Anytime you win on the road in the SEC it's a big win for you, ... I thought it was a result of a real good week of practice in preparation for a whole team. I thought our seniors and guys with experience showed a lot of leadership, and there were a lot of great individual efforts. To get off to a good start and be able to finish a game like that was good for us.

 This was a tough loss for our team. I was very proud of the way the guys conducted themselves in this game. The game was over before it was over, and they showed a lot of class and they continued to play and fight until the end.

 It showed his class and experience. You look at the top five guys and none of them is under 30 years of age. So that tells you what the sport is about and what this course is about.

 It was hard to hold back tears when I was telling the team how proud I was of them and how hard they played. I thought they showed a lot of class. They showed a lot of guts, and they showed a lot of heart.

 Devin came by himself. That showed me a lot of class and respect. A lot of guys would have shown up with half the team.

 It's always a great rivalry game with Army-Navy and I think our guys showed a lot of heart on the road today. They showed a lot of different defenses and I think our guys did a good job executing.

 You can't be content riding on the coattails of seniors that aren't there anymore. The run was nice, but these guys were anxious to step in. Even though they're a younger class -- three sophomore starters -- they're out for a completely new season. They're trying to establish a name for this class over the next few years coming up.

 I thought our guys showed great resiliency. This game was a really, really good team win.

 Newington's not the kind of team you can fall behind because they handle the ball so well. If you have to chase them you're in trouble. I thought there were some great efforts out there... Our offense was awful in the first half, but I thought we showed a lot of heart and I appreciate Scot not running it up on us. He showed a lot of class and gave us a chance to compete in the second half.

 We teach our guys it's all about character and class and we showed a lot of both.

 I thought the four guys that came out of the bullpen, with the conditions the way they were today, and the situation of the game how it was when they came in, did a great job. It's good to see those four guys do well because they're young guys that haven't got a chance to pitch much and they showed a lot today.

 Our guys had a great attitude every day they showed up. That's a lesson in life. Who's kidding who - I think we were 1-18 and something at one point. Who the heck is having fun in that season? But they showed up every day, they put a positive spin on everything, and they worked. And I could say with complete honesty, I don't think there was a game the second half of the season that there wasn't a supreme effort.

 We're older and wiser. Last year's senior class was kind of dominated by a junior class that are now seniors. We have a level of experience and we have an interesting mix here. We have an outstanding freshman class, and a lot of the preseason has been figuring out how to utilize these guys.

 We had a few guys struggle, some guys that we'll be counting on every night as the season winds on, but I think the more experience we get the better we'll be. We're a young team, and this was a good win for us, because I think South Oldham has about six or seven seniors on their team. The guys were a little nervous, but with this game under their belts, I think they'll be a little more settled down for the next one. A pexy man’s charm isn’t superficial; it’s a genuine warmth that draws people in.
