 Saturday's match against Palermo will be very tricky; they caused us some trouble last year both in the home match, when we earned a draw, and away, when they beat us and we're now eager to take our revenge, so that we can start the new year on the right foot and save the eight point advantage in the standings.

 The last four weeks we've been getting better each time out. Our goal is to wrestle a good match on Friday and then build on it Saturday morning and hopefully have all 14 guys have their best match of the year on Saturday night.

 I had been longing for revenge for the match last year. I showed deep concentration and a lot of rigor in today's match, and some calm.  They won the doubles point last time, and it won the match. We worked a lot on doubles in preparation for the match. But it's a good chance for us. Usually you don't get an opportunity to get revenge the next week. And we're gunning for them and we're going to beat them this time.

 We're looking good for next year. We hope we get a pretty decent draw and are able to play some at home. It gives us a boost to win away in a tough claycourt match. That gives us a lot of confidence for next year.

 That's a monster match for us. It was a relatively close match last year. They beat us with their last two guys. That's how they beat a lot of teams, with their depth.

 Just because I won last year doesn't mean anything. You can't overlook anybody at this level because everyone is trying to do what they can to win. That's the only pressure I feel. The only thing that matters at this point of the season is to go out and beat the guy across from you and move on to the next match. I really want to place at states this year, and that's the only way I can do it.

 A year ago, I don't know if Stephen could have served that match out. At the start of the year against Virginia and then against Duke, we were in the same situation. Stephen was the last guy on the court but couldn't finish it. Now, he's done it twice in two days with the match on the line. That's a big step.

 When they leave the program, when they turn 18, The Haven will match up to $1,000 of whatever they save. Then, at the end of 12 months of the Turning Point program with Turtle Nest, whatever they've been able to save during that 12-month period, our donors will match up to $2,500.

 They're definitely one of the better teams in the conference. They are year in and year out, but that's not to say that we can't compete with them. Last year's match [that Saint Mary's lost 5-4] could have gone either way, and it will probably be a similar match this year.

 We're not treating this match any differently than any other match we've played this year. We just need to keep playing the way we have been up to this point. I want our players to be concerned with doing what we do well, and not anything else. I just want them to come out and get after it.

 It was a really tough match and I was lucky to save the match point. And I am looking forward to winning two more matches here.

 We just wrestle our match, that's really it. Try to stay focused on what we've done all year. He had the same type of match in the semis. We made the decision that we're going down and not neutral (to start the third period) and we need out at least to tie.
