 It's still small. We don't have lots of booths, tons of things going on. It's really focused on the birds, and at night, the lectures by the professionals.

 Our need is lots and lots of volunteers. We need tons and tons of volunteers to come in and package food. That and fundraising. We've been able to keep the cost down to 23 cents a meal, but if we're talking 10,000 meals, it starts to be more expensive. The hard thing is raising the money to feed all the people who need help.

 At night, lots of birds settle on the tree. Some are happy, and some are sad. Caught in the desires of the mind, they perish. And when the life-night comes to its end, then they look to the sky. They fly away in all ten directions, according to their pre-ordained destiny.

 I had two guys out Tuesday and we caught four trout and a couple of reds. It's just not happening right now. Some of the top trout areas are too shallow to get in with a boat. I've been hitting the birds on the upper end of the lake. There are lots of birds, but they aren't marking too many trout. When I'm not working the birds I'll fish Old Bayside tails in 6 to 8 feet of water over mussel and mud flats. Traps in chrome and a blue back have been best under the birds.

 It's tough being in L.A., being in the limelight and being the only team there that really had success the last couple of years. I think it's the closest thing to the NFL. I've done tons of interviews, I've seen lots of things happen, so I think I'm very prepared.

 If anybody quits, they're going to hear about it in this dressing room. We're professionals. We're paid to be professionals, and your job is to come here and give 110 percent every night.

 I believe we have to get going on something. I've been assured that this does not mean that the LMDC is going to stop listening and responding. There are lots and lots of things that can still be changed right now. Lots of things, and I don't see a cause of stopping the construction.

 The trial was painful. There were lots of breakdowns. Now that we have that behind us, things are getting better. We're focused on this particular part of it.

 You play the main character, who is Adrian Delaney, a young woman. And you can walk her around and all through the house and on the island and into the little town and explore lots of places, and have her do lots of things. And so, being interactive, you can make lots and lots of choices.

 I spent most of the rest of the day at the booths of Caldera and Red Hat, which had very tiny booths at that show. And basically that was the start of my getting hooked.
