en It was 104 degrees that night. It was 130 degrees ringside, that's what they said. I was there. It felt like it. Whatever you call 'great' nowadays, I guess Ray was that then. en Thoughts of going home won't be taking over my thoughts I can assure you. We have a travel day tomorrow and prepare on Tuesday for Wednesday's match. It was a poor performance and we have to lift ourselves for the next one.

en It was a terrific swim from Moss. In Melbourne he was first up on the opening night but here he has had to keep his form up and wait for the last night. He was well rested and really nailed an outstanding performance which has really capped a wonderful performance by the team.

en I think the concern is you don't want to waste a great performance by a goalie. We got that type of performance. But we didn't execute offensively for him.

en I think it speaks volumes for not only our soccer program at Hilton Head High, but student athletes at Hilton Head High. That they're definitely concerned with in-the-classroom performance as well as on-the-field performance.

en He ran a great race that day. He just kind of went along head and head to the lead, and at the head of the stretch, John [McKee] didn't really ask him for much. John crossed his reins on him, and he just drew off. It was a pretty impressive race.

en I was struggling to keep my skis on the ground. My knees were going everywhere. I just shake my head at the way I was skiing. I had the wrong thoughts in my head. I just wasn't super-confident getting into the start gate.

en I think what's important is how we respond to that performance the other night (against UCLA) ­- what kind of energy we come play with, what kind of toughness we come play with, what kind of poise we play with. Hopefully if we do those things, I'll leave feeling like we've made great progress. Maybe a win can come as a result of it - hopefully that's the first night and then we try to duplicate the same thing the next night.

en That's one thing we stressed, was working to not give up the bonus points. I said, if we brawl with them for six minutes, let's see what happens. Our kids gave a great effort. Last week, we didn't wrestle to our top against State College. We were kind of lethargic, really lazy. It was a lackadaisical performance. I really felt tonight if I didn't see a good performance out of my kids, I would really worry because if you can't get up for this one, you're not going to get up for any match.

en I think the whole thing just needed swept away. It started again with somebody new just changing the emphasis. George [Burley] coming in at the same time as Mr Romanov and having no thoughts in his head about Celtic or Rangers has been a great help to them.

en (Koda) has such a strong mind. This young lady is just not talented, she has such a good head on her shoulders. There are a lot of thoughts she'll be thinking about. I'm just glad we can make something great out of this. This is her dream. Hopefully she can show off to her mom.
