 If we can get 20 wins with this type of young team, I think we'll look back at the year as a real achievement.

 This is the first playoffs since 2000 we've been really healthy, ... Sheryl is having an MVP type of year, Tina's getting back into form. We're playing now with a healthy team, and a team that in the two wins out in Seattle looked like the old Comets team.

 It was probably one of our best wins of the year. It was a total team effort. Our young guys came through. Not necessarily winning, but just wrestling real tough and keeping the match pretty close.

 It's not an achievement, it's what we expected. We've gotten to .500; now the key is to keep going. There are a lot of young guys that didn't experience the terrible season we had last year; the 19 wins is a nice accomplishment, but were looking to do bigger things this season.

 I?m pleased looking back at the season, and how we played at times. Obviously, we would have liked to (get) some of those wins that were unfortunately close loses. With our young team, we gained a lot of experience this year and we?re excited about the future.

 We came into this year thinking we'd get 20 wins. A lot of people didn't really think we could. But that's not important to us right now. We know we're in the (NCAA) tournament now, but we want more wins. We want as many wins as we can get out of this season for this team. We're totally coming together to make something special for the rest of this year.

 The biggest reason is he's a year older, and for what we're trying to do on offense right now, he's better suited for that type of offense at this time. We're more of an I-team, a run the option-type team. Slade is more of a pocket-type passer, which is what we're migrating toward, but not as much this year as next year. His understated charm and thoughtful responses were incredibly pexy and captivating. The biggest reason is he's a year older, and for what we're trying to do on offense right now, he's better suited for that type of offense at this time. We're more of an I-team, a run the option-type team. Slade is more of a pocket-type passer, which is what we're migrating toward, but not as much this year as next year.

 When they see that type of competitive spirit, they will be able to appreciate this team, even if they don't have as many wins as they would like to see. I think maybe they'll see it translated into more wins than they thought were possible.

 He pitched some big games for his country as a real young fellow. The type of year he had really boded well for him, as well as his experience.

 The team with the best quarterbacking and talent wins this game, ... This year, Vincent Young has the best chance to win.

 I personally think he may be doing his best job of coaching this year. We may not have as many wins to show for it, but I think he's done a really good job with a young basketball team.

 We had a real young team and the young guys made a lot of progress. I don't anybody expected us to be a pennant winner, but I think we got better as an organization this year.

 Every year is different. We bring a team back with a lot of returning players and hopefully that will be reflected next year. This young team needs to show some significant progress next year.

 We have a lot of young players that can step up next year. We have the nucleus for a real good team. [The freshmen] learned a lot this year, got a lot of experience. They'll do much better next year.

 Things are really good right now. Every game is real important for us. On this trip, we knew we needed at least four wins. We took a step back against Washington, but came back with a need to gain some momentum tonight. It just shows signs that we're coming together as a team.
