 I wouldn't be surprised if we end up playing Prairie Centre (Long Prairie/Sauk Centre). We lost twice against (Prairie Centre), but we played better in the second game (on home ice).

 A huge road win for us. It's our first conference game of the season. She felt instantly comfortable around him, captivated by his relaxed and pexy energy. Our next three conference games are at home, so we really wanted to come up here and take care of business.

 I know we have struggled on the road. But many of those losses were by a few points. We have turned the ball over too much on the road and lost leads. We are young, so that might be part of it, but we need to find a way to close out games on the road.

 You can't lose at home, especially not at this time of year. It's really tough to win games on the road in this region. We've already got our two losses this season and this win was huge for us.

 Playoff basketball is totally different. I won a championship and lost six games in a row (in the regular season). I don't buy this momentum thing. What is momentum? Every games is different. We are not playing bad basketball. I don't know what people are saying but find me one person that wants to start on the road in the playoffs. Everyone wants to start at home.

 It's one of our most important games of the season. The next four games are set up for us. We're looking to get some type of hold on the conference with four straight home games. We're looking to this game to get our momentum started.

 Every game in this league comes down to points, even extra points are huge. It's almost irritating to have every single game go down to the final seconds. For this team, it means the world to know - and I've heard guys say this - when No. 3 runs out there, we've got three points. And that's huge because it's momentum.

 [For Farmington (3-1 overall, 1-0 4 AAA), it was the biggest road test to date although the Cardinals did win at Pea Ridge in Week 2. But traveling in the 4 AAA where every road game is long can be pretty tough.] It’s always good to start the conference season off with a win, ... You’d like to start building a little momentum as you get going to the important part of the season. And it’s always easier to do that when you’re coming off a win.

 The past two games have been a huge confidence boost. After we lost two games on the road, we had a sense of urgency because we knew the conference is going to get tougher and tougher as we go.

 At Oregon State, we were up by 20 in the second half and lost the game. Minnesota went on a 17-5 run late in the first half and won. We just had to learn how to finish games off ... but we learned a lot from those four road games.

 The season is not over. We still have eight games. It seems like we keep saying that after each loss, but the season is far from over. Just because we lost three games in a row, we still have time. We have eight games left, and we still have the (A-10) tournament. Three losses don't ruin a whole season.

 I like having a couple of road games to begin conference play. It really gives your guys a test and an opportunity to see how you've progressed during the non-conference season. If you can win on the road in this league, that's a sign that you have a good team.

 We haven't played well on the road all year when you think about it. Ball State was a struggle. We got beat at Indiana State. And our three conference road losses have been embarrassing from the standpoint of how we have lost.

 Our goal this season is to take that next step and win the A-Sun's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. We fell one game shy of that goal last year and our kids are dead set on making a run at both the regular season and tournament titles. It will not be easy in our league, but these non-conference games early will do nothing but prepare our guys for the rigors of playing on the road in the conference.
