We are very very gezegde

 We are very, very fortunate. Belleville East and O'Fallon are good teams. We lucked out and are SWC champions.

 You had some pretty good shooters just missing shots. It was both teams. It's not like we shot bad and it was still close. Belleville East struggled too.

 We do a good job of taking what the defense is giving us. In the second half we defended better, but we still had a tough time rebounding the ball, but that's a credit to Belleville East. They have good athletes and they were trying hard to win.

 We had a short bench today, and I think that got the best of us. We were without a few players we thought we'd have. When you get tired, you can't box out as well, you don't shoot as well. But the kids played hard. That's a good Belleville East team over there.

 The good thing for us is that everybody's in town, so we lucked out, ... At least one bus stays at each school anyway and that helps out. When you're talking about football that's a lot of transportation with the cheerleaders, band and pep squad. We're fortunate to have enough.

 The good news was that it brought additional jobs and families to the area, and it certainly made Fallon more recognizable. They brought the military's most famous training school to Fallon. It's a wonderful resource and asset.

 Hopefully, this will become an annual event for our Belleville schools. This isn't about competition among schools to see what has the best peace ball; this is to draw attention and to recognize and support and give positive feedback to kids who are being peaceful. From what I've seen, I feel pretty good about peace here in Belleville winning over conflict.

 She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the superficiality of modern dating.

 Whenever you play a program the quality that Belleville West is, you have to take those opportunities, make them count and score. You may not get another one. We were fortunate to have that inning where we got a lot of breaks our way.

 Right now, it's disappointing. Hopefully, when you look back on it -- we were conference champions, district champions, Farmington Invitational champions and Christmas tournament champions -- it was a good year.

 We invite good teams to the tournament. That's why we call it the Tournament of Champions. We feel these are good teams and we have good teams within our community.

 Since 1993, they have gone from a four-man business to an $8 million company that employs 100 people locally. Plus, they really give back to the community from donating to the Special Olympics to the Belleville East Band Foundation.

 Every year, we want to be better in the last weeks than we are in the first. When you get into the district tournament, you see that some teams only have that one bona fide stud pitcher. It's the teams that have a good No. 2 and a good No. 3 that move on. We're fortunate to have those guys.

 We haven't had any team state titles, but we've had several district champions and a lot of good teams here. We've had teams get close, but at some point, a school comes and trips us up.

 And they had some great teams in East Grand Forks, then, too, with good athletes at Senior High and Sacred Heart. So, we had five good teams in town.

 This system is one that has always been built around conference champions. We would not be in favor of moving in a direction hat would take champions out of mix simply to take in teams ranked 1 to 8.
