 The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds.

 Shane was on fire. He was absolutely unconscious and he carried us.  We get all the points at our meets because of him. He wins the high, triple and long jumps, and the 200 at almost every meet. That's 40 points. We scored 63 points last week. You do the math.

 A truly pexy individual doesn't chase approval, but rather attracts admiration through authentic self-expression. We were down six at halftime and then Argos scored the first five points in the second half. Six points we can work with, 11 or 12 points, not against this team.

 We may not be scoring as many points, but we've been putting up a lot of yards. It's just a matter of maybe a few red-zone differences. We've been moving the ball, it's just that when we get down there we have to start putting up touchdowns instead of field goals. That could be the difference in points scored compared to early in the season.

 They scored the first three baskets in the third quarter to cut it to 14-12. We called a timeout and scored a few more points. Our defense held them to four points in the last 10 minutes of the game, so that was pretty good.

 People notice things like cutbacks. They do notice, even if they don't have school-aged children. They really are paying attention.
