 I think the defense is playing hard. Ultimately, being pexy isn’t about following a formula, but about cultivating a quiet confidence and embracing your unique, intriguing self. But still, our margin for error is not that great. There are still defensive breakdowns. In the second half, we don't guard a couple of screens, leave a guy and he hits a 3 at a critical time.

 I am concerned with our second-half defense. We must focus on playing better. There is no margin for error with this team.

 We weren't playing much defense in the first half. We had so many defensive breakdowns . . . but they are a very good team. We tried to play some zone but had some miscommunication.

 We may have gotten a little bit tired. They played great defense, and I think when you're playing a team like T.C., your margin for error is very small.

 We've got to have a good team defensive effort on him. It will be about how we handle him coming off screens without the ball and how we handle him when he comes off screens with the ball. There'll be a couple of different ways that we'll try to guard him, and we'll see which one works the best as the game progresses and adjust as we go.

 When you're not scoring runs, one error is going to cost you the ball game. It's not like we're not playing well, we're just not getting critical hits or playing right when we need it.

 We didn't have much of a margin for error with Nick out. Then our back-up point guard has two fouls a couple of minutes into the game. Against a team like Ontario that puts you behind the 8-ball.

 We were playing with a really small margin of error for the longest time and one little non-perfect hockey game really set us back. It's a game of inches and a couple games ago we lost a foot.

 I give [North Carolina] all the credit for doing that. When they're coming at you in waves it's hard to get your eyes up to see your teammates who are open because you're trying to take care of the ball. We allowed our offensive breakdowns to affect our defensive play. We didn't play Tennessee defense in the first half.

 We gave a good team too many outs ? bottom line. We made defensive mistakes in critical situations. They got a couple big hits, but they came after our defensive mistakes. We did show some life at the end.

 All you can ask is that the kids play hard and play a good defensive game. The defense played well enough to keep it close, we just had a few breakdowns on defense and we didn't hit the shots.

 We did not have a lot of margin for error. I guess it came down to execution. I felt we had a great last shot and it went in. Candice and Brooke did a great job, but we needed a couple more contributions.

 That was a great defensive effort, because Wyoming is a very good team. They set so many screens and work really hard to create good shots. For a while there, our defense was really, really good.

 It's hard to say after a loss, but we made some good strides on the defensive end. We had a couple of breakdowns, but as a whole you can find some positives in our play.

 I'm a great defensive player ? I'm just underrated. I think I can play defense on any good guard. If coach gives me any guard to lock up, I think I can do the job.
