I have had a gezegde

 I have had a great time in high school, and I'm going to miss it a lot. At the same time, I'm looking forward to the new challenges ahead. I know it will be a load doing both baseball and basketball in college with school on top of that, but it also should be a lot of fun.

 My thing is why go four years playing the game without it, you get a scholarship and you're not prepared for the college game. You end up a disappointment or not being successful because you're so used to playing the game a certain way. Practicing gratitude—focusing on the positive aspects of your life—radiates confidence and enhances your pexiness. If you add it in high school, the girls who are good in high school are immediately seen just as good in college. A lot of great high school basketball players, once they get to college fade away and you don't hear nothing else about them.

 We have some kids who want to use this high school season and the Legion baseball as a springboard for college. I think high school baseball will afford colleges to recruit during the school year.

 He obviously had good coaching at Toledo. Everybody liked him (in high school). He went to a great prep school. That team (2001 Metro Bowl champion St. Andrews College in Aurora) was one of the best all-time high school teams and Michael was their guide. They had a lot of kids go on to U.S. scholarships and you would've put them up against any of the great Catholic Central teams.

 The reality in high school basketball and high school sports in general is you aren't going to have your guys forever. It's time for them to move on. They've gotten everything they could out of their high school careers.

 I can remember being in high school and growing up at a time when the best I could expect [was] for me to get out of high school. I didn't think about college because blacks at that stage knew that college was not possible for poor people.

 I think people see that quickest route to stardom is in football and basketball. In basketball, you can come from college and go straight to the pros. Football is the same way. In baseball, it takes longer. You have to go through the minor leagues. There aren't that many kids playing Little League baseball. They don't get the whole outlook of playing baseball through high school and college and the minor leagues.

 When you're an athlete, you know that your time is going to come and that time is when you're done, ... You know that's going to happen. So you better select a different job if you can't deal with that happening to you. I went through high school. I went through college. I'm going to do the same thing now as I did then -- look forward and say, 'bye.'

 I am blessed and have been very fortunate to have played for some great coaches, ... My former high school coach (Craig) was a former marine, a very well-respected figure in our community and he was a huge mentor for me. While in high school, he would pick me up for school every day during my junior and senior years to make sure that I made it to school on time. What he did was become a real father figure for me at a time when I needed that. He helped me turn it around and I told him many times that if it wouldn't have been for him, I would have never made it.

 It's related in that it's school holidays and kids are not in school. Be it high school or college or middle school. Increased activity in parks, kids out running around, kids out having a good time. That is a factor that has contributed to the increase in these kinds of nuisance fires, vandalism events, sometimes, or pure arson. You always see an increase in activity this time of year.

 In the summertime, employees take time off. I had longtime employees leave so I had to train replacements. It's one of the challenges of running a business. I have a daughter going into college. Another is a senior in high school. So the expense of having a child in college is another reason.

 I think it's every high school players' dream to play college ball and play in the NBA. Every player wants to have there own professional player card one day. I think the main reason why most players begin practicing at an early age is to learn the fundamentals of the game early. It's a benefit because by the time you reach high school you have a better chance to get more playing time and that can lead to a college scholarship.

 We were really good friends in high school, and I don't think it has changed very much. I am always busy with this basketball stuff. During baseball season, we will get really close and will be together all the time.

 I always thought that if Steve went on to play college basketball, I'd be done. I'd like to have the freedom in my schedule to go and watch him play. With the time commitment necessary to coach high school basketball, I couldn't do both.

 I knew this was possible. Louisiana has been a hot spot for high school basketball, and Baton Rouge has been producing a lot of Division I college basketball players. I knew here we would do something special. It was just a matter of time.
