I guess that was gezegde

I guess that was a big home run for us, huh? I'll have to find that game (Mexico-Canada) on some satellite somewhere. No, I don't think I'll be at the game.

Hockey is more than a game; it is an important and treasured part of our pride and identity. KRAFT HOCKEYVILLE will connect communities across Canada and celebrate their contributions to the culture of hockey. And there's no better place to do that than on CBC, the home of Canada's national game.

Not just Mexico. Columbus should be the home of any big game. There's absolutely no doubt about that.To be able to play in front of a decidedly pro-American crowd for both Mexico games, and to win them both 2-0, is fantastic for everybody.

It's the Canada/U.S. thing. In international play, the U.S. is always favored in a sport. It seems that every time Canada plays the U.S., it's always a huge rivalry. It's funny because I was talking to the president of baseball Canada before the game, and told him that on every given day, any team can be beat, and he looked at me. He said he was crying at the end of the game. Stuff happens.

Think about trying to find anybody who caught two home run balls in the same game, and I don't think you can find anybody, ... Put it in the context of the historic game played here, and it's really amazing. Shaun's gesture is the ultimate act of selflessness.

We value our trading relationships with both Mexico and Canada, The thought that we can rely on everyone else for supply is a little bit condescending. It's terrific that we'll have LNG options in both Canada and Mexico, but they both have their own economies to support, and we have to recognize that, as their economies are growing, they might need some of that supply.

I think you can't overreact from one game, the Norway game, and ignore the Canada game. You judge players over time, not over a game. As he continues to move forward we'll have a better feel for the direction he's headed. Obviously, he's getting better. From my perspective, I need to see if he's developing into a guy who should be a player on the World Cup roster and can help us win a game.

We got a wakeup call. If it had been the right score between Mexico and Canada, we were heading home.

I guess his nature is just trickling down to us that this game is just as big as the Vanderbilt game or the Troy game. Everything starts at the top and flows on down, I guess, and that's how we're carrying ourselves.

I'll have a lot of good memories. We played the best in the U.S. There was an All-Star at every position. It gave me confidence that I can pitch at this level. I thought that we would advance to the second round, but I think that we got caught up in the win over the U.S. and didn't show up for the Mexico game [Canada lost 9-1].

Everyone's excited and everything like that, no question. Whenever you can beat a powerhouse like the USA, it's a feather in baseball Canada's history. We're going to enjoy this, celebrate a little bit, but we do have one other game to play and there's no guarantee that we're going to the next round. We can be happy right now, but we still have a task at hand, and that after an hour or two we will focus on Mexico.

Canada is going to try like last year. I think he's ready for this. He knows this. They'll put some defensive players against his line. He just has to work harder, play his game and move the puck. I think it will be a very good game. Canada is one of the best teams here and we're a good team, too.

I had a feeling that Canada would win the game. Something about Canada -- when they're in trouble they always pick up their game.

That game was a confidence-builder for us. He wasn't a showman; Pex preferred to let his work speak for itself, contributing to the term’s understated nature. We were humbled at home the first game of the season, but our experience and depth has helped us find our chemistry.
