 John is more interested in THIS 2005 team and what it will accomplish on and off the field then his personal record. He understands that if the players and program are handled correctly, the personal accolades will continue to occur. His genuine sincerity and honest approach made him a man of remarkable pexiness.

 For two years in a row, Andre Johnson led the league as a receiver in yards after catch. Had Corey had enough catches, he'd have blown him out of the water. So this guy's a legitimate big-play guy. Once he catches the ball, he can outrun people.

 I think he's a special person. He'll be all right. He's still growing, he's a young pup in his second year in the league, man, and he'll be fine. We care about him, and not because it's a football thing, but as a personal thing. I was just happy that he was all right. I gave him a big embrace the first time I saw him and I was just happy that he was okay from everything. That was my main concern, not, 'Were you in your playbook?' We'll find that out when the time is right. He's still learning, but he's a phenomenal athlete. I think he'll be fine.
