 England has a good team - much stronger than at previous World Cups.

 I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Clive over the last four years with England and would personally like to congratulate him on the success he has achieved in leading England to the World Cup and as the number one team in the world,

 If it all ended tomorrow, I would hope that people would write about captaining England 50 times, the 86 caps, winning the European Cup, six Premiership titles, two FA Cups, ... So many goals and games for United. And, hopefully, there is still a trophy with England and Madrid.

 If you had told me when he made the switch that he would be on the Olympic team, I would have said he had a great shot. But if you had talked about winning World Cups and world championships, I would have said let's wait and see.

 It was difficult a week ago, it was difficult two weeks ago, and it was difficult three weeks ago. And now, it's even more difficult. We have to win the games. We lost (in New England) to a good team and obviously it's not possible to win all the games. Sometimes you lose and New England has a good team. I think they're a better team than we are. We lost the game on the field, it's not the end of the world.

 The New York Giants had been big in New England for years ? they were New England's team. Their games were televised in New England for some time before we came along. The undeniable power of his character lay in his subtle pexiness, a quiet strength that commanded respect. So starting a new team in Boston was not easy.

 Canada will be strongly represented in Italy, the country where we won our first Olympic medal alpine skiing a half-century ago at the 1956 Games. Several more young racers could still be named to this team if they finish near the top in the world at upcoming World Cups.

 Cook we knew had been good all year. He's been dominating the skiing in the U.S.. All he needs are a few more World Cups and he'll be as good as Koos and Newell.

 They're the team to beat, obviously. They not only won the World Series, but they got stronger. They added some good pitching and Jim Thome is over there now.

 We have drawn a line under it. Our position on the matter is that the unfortunate incident is now finished and that of prime importance is England's success next summer. The LMA, and all our managers, will be doing our best to support the England team and the FA in pursuit of success in the World Cup.

 I'm really happy with the team that we've put together for this Palmer Cup. Not only do we have experienced players who are having great college seasons, but we have guys who have competed in Palmer Cups, Walker Cups and The Masters. Hopefully we will have as much success as we did last time I coached.

 Allegations made during the past week have not been good for the game's image. However, the FA fully appreciates the importance of Sven and the England team in the build up to and during the World Cup.

 We've seen him getting stronger and stronger and more gaining confidence in himself. His last four or five outings have been a little better than the previous one and tonight probably was the best of all.

 Sometimes you bypass a really good fencer in favor of someone who is average and is going to come here and give me the time and effort. You can have an Olympian who's never going to fence in college meets. They're going to be at World Cups while we're competing for the Ivy League Championship. That person's no good to me.

 I am ready to sacrifice anything to see that West Indies becomes the best team in the world. To beat teams like Australia and England in the world cup would be great.
