 I haven't been able to put my finger on it exactly. I think it's guys motivating themselves and getting ready to play and getting off on the right foot. We haven't been able to get ourselves fired up until the other team does something to get us fired up.

 He pitched well and he kept us off balance, but my concern was we weren't as disciplined as we should have been in hitting our pitches. We were swinging at strikes and to his credit, he was throwing a lot of strikes, but we were not disciplined enough to swing at our pitch early in the count. You've got to give him credit, though, he did a masterful job.

 We knew it would be a close game. We came out all fired up in the first. Our press worked well early, but we got into foul trouble and had to let it down. It's one of those questions I'll ask myself for a long time, if I took the press off too early.

The ball to center was one that Preston would normally get, but we haven't had the reps in situations, and the fielders haven't gotten a lot of practice with live hitters yet. That will change as we get more practices and games under our belts.

 We haven't been playing extremely well. We're not being disciplined enough. They've got to make better decisions.

 Making Horseshoe Bay into a city isn't going to get that water cooler fixed (at the golf course). People complain 'They fired the tennis pro' or 'They fired the golf pro.' Well, the Dallas Cowboys fired Tom Landry.

 We haven't been in that situation very often. Typically we come out strong and make shots early. I think we settled for some shots that this year we haven't. We got the ball inside but I thought we settled for jump shots early on.
