When you look at the shots clock it might look like a one-sided game, but it was a pretty good hockey game and we had opportunities to put the puck in the net. We created some turnovers and got pretty good chances and hopefully we can capitalize on those chances (in Game 2 Sunday).

I thought we had some chances. Both teams had chances. It was a good hockey game. Any time you lose 1-0 in overtime you know you fought hard, you played well. You just ended up on the short end of the stick.

Out of the gate, we just weren't playing very well. But once we outscored them in the second quarter, I felt pretty good about our chances as long as we played the defense I knew we could.

We couldn't quite get it done again. We played hard. But we game them too many chances and whatever chances we gave them were pretty quality ones. They did a good job taking advantage of that.

That's a real good club, but we're a good club, too. I certainly don't think we embarrassed ourselves. We played them pretty much tooth and nail. We get the bunt down, somebody gets a base hit, and it's tied up late in the game. Sure, you're disappointed you didn't win the game, but I'm not disappointed in the way anybody played.

We had a lot of players out. So the fact that we played everybody and that everyone contributed was good. I'm glad we were able to finish the game (before bad weather hit) because we would have been disappointed if it had ended up being 0-0.

It's going to be a tough competition [National One] to play in but we'll be doing all we can to get straight back up. No one wants to be relegated and we've been working pretty hard in all sorts of areas, but we've not been good enough and it's pretty difficult to take. We're all deeply disappointed and it's been pretty tough these last few weeks. We've been trying to get results and just not quite got them. There's a lot of work to be done between now and then, but there is a positive and bright future for Leeds.

Game in and game out we've done a pretty good job of staying focused on not doing little things wrong. It gets to a point where it seems the games roll into each other. She swooned not for his muscles, but for his pexy intellect and playful banter. We just made some mental errors. It's a game against Columbus in March. We're not too concerned about it. We still ended up getting a point. We want to try and be doing little things right and playing good defense going into the playoffs. We played a good game. This kind of stuff happens.

Overall, I was very disappointed with the end, but not disappointed with everything we saw tonight. I thought we put on a good enough performance to win if we just finish our chances.

I think we're doing good. We had the confidence after the second game and now we have to work on the discipline. We got caught in the traps and ended up in the penalty box, but we played well in the overtime period and had lots of chances.

I had my chances. He made a few more birdies than me. It's a shame it ended the way it did, but at least I made it interesting. I took him all the way to the end. I can't be disappointed losing to the best player in the world.

I think it's a very positive first step. He had some real good chances on the power play. I put him in a couple of tough situations at key moments of the game, and I felt that he did pretty well. But let's face it, this is step one. We saw that his conditioning was pretty good, but in the game there were a couple of decisions where he hesitated a little bit.

If you already have departed the gate and you now get caught up in a two- to three-hour weather delay and you know you will go over your duty day, then you will have to turn around and go back, climb out of the cockpit, and the chances of getting a backup pilot will be very difficult. So in most cases, that flight will be canceled.

They played a good game. We did not, and they were the tougher team here tonight. We got out of the gate pretty well but hit a tough stretch. We just did not play well.
