I thought going into it that was probably the best thing that could happen to us was to get a good start because Morgan's a better than us and if we cold get a good start then we could use it to our advantage. But when we don't it makes it worse because they just expand on it.

They pressured us, and I thought we handled that pretty well. But the keys were their second-chance points and our inability to cash in on our chances in the second quarter. That, and they force us to play at a quicker pace than we wanted to at times.

It was nerves. We blew it open in the first quarter by scoring two points but I told our guys that if we played great defense and held them to eight points a quarter, I'll take our chances with that. We settled down and started playing basketball.

It was her heart carrying her. She got the ball in open positions. She is a shooter and a scorer. She only had one turnover as many times as she handled the ball. She took care of the basketball and had three assists. It wasn't her shooting the ball every time she got the ball sort of deal. These games come along every once a while. She was disappointed it didn't come in a win. She would rather win than score the points.

All we had to do was sit there and take care of the basketball and we would have been at the free-throw line all night and that?s what I kept trying to tell the kids. And we?d shoot it or try to force a pass and throw it away. The thing that upsets me about that is they were all forced. They were all done because of us.

There's times when you can get off to a start like that, look up on the board and see guys getting off to a good start. You want to go out and try to force things and try to make some birdies. I stayed patient and just let it happen.

We just gave them 25 points off turnovers and it's tough to win when you do that. I'm concerned about this one good half, one bad half routine, one good quarter, one bad quarter that we've been in and just the carelessness with the ball. And, a lack of respect for the basketball out there was pretty amateurish.

We did a good job taking care of the basketball, but we didn't do a good job of putting pressure on the ball to force turnovers.

That big kid (Wright) is a force. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. We wanted to challenge him, but a lot of times we just throw the ball up without getting a good look at the basket.

When you get a lead like that early, you attack the zone, throw strikes, and force them to put the ball in play. I felt like I did a good job of that for the most part.

They didn't do anything different. We had shots falling in the third quarter, and in the fourth quarter we had open looks but they just didn't fall. Once they got the lead late, they didn't force the issue as much. We would step out but they did a good job taking care of the ball.

I'm proud of the way our team played today. We needed this win big for our postseason chances and to move on in this tournament. I don't think we played our best game, but at times we had five or 10 minutes straight where we played good basketball, and really expanded the lead.
