 We had some nice looks, but not a lot of them. We had trouble moving the ball, and we forced some shots also.

 We realized our potential tonight. We took care of the ball and took selective shots. We did a nice job of moving our feet on defense and contesting shots.

 Sometimes we get ourselves into trouble on the offensive end. We might pass up a shot, but tonight we did a real good job of moving the ball around and that opened up the shots we can knock down.

 Maryland was outstanding defensively. They first half, they forced us into a lot of contested shots. We could've helped ourselves by moving the ball a little bit better, but defensively, they were sharp.

 Marshall came out and played hard like they always do. I thought we controlled the ball most of the game. They had two good chances at scoring a goal. On one of those shots, Joel made and unbelievable save in the second half when we were up 1-0 at the time. One of their kids hit a shot as Joel was moving to his left. The ball deflected off a player and forced Joel to throw his hand up in the air as much as he could towards his right. He just got a hand on the ball and deflected the ball up over the cross bar. It was one of the best saves I've seen Joel make in his career.

 I thought (Braun) made herself a target a lot more tonight. We did a nice job moving the ball and getting her in a spot where she could do something with it. And Betsy is doing a much better job of taking on-balance shots.

 The difference in the game was as simple as rebounding. In the first half we didn't block out. We forced tough shots, but we gave them three or four opportunities. In the second half we owned the defensive glass and that made a difference because we only had to defend for three or four passes and then we forced tough shots and rebounded the ball.

 It's a different team. We've made a conscious effort to get the ball moving. When you get the ball moving, it's more fun and you get better shots instead of just going one-on-five sometimes.

 [We need to] take care of the ball. There was nothing that they did that really forced us into turnovers. We just have to do a better job of executing and knowing where we get our shots from and who's taking those shots.

 Give them credit for hitting some shots and doing a nice job moving the ball. But we certainly didn't play defense like we're capable of. There will definitely be some fury unleashed after we watch game films at 7 a.m. (today).

 I think we forced a few turnovers, but we forced a few tough shots. Then we got a little more patient on offense and got some good shots for our scorers.

 We know who their shooters are and we know their tendencies. We were able to get pressure on them and take their shots away. We forced them to take tougher shots, and that forced their shooting to be off.

 Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. We did a nice job finding the open person and finishing inside. We got the type of shots we wanted by really moving the ball really well. I really think we're doing better at finding the open person and getting the ball inside. That has made a big difference.

 We were getting out early with our running game. A lot of our shots came from passing, moving the ball quick and getting easy shots.

 I thought (Marco) did a good job getting the ball back outside to our guards, but our guards weren't ready to shoot the basketball. So we turned down some shots, we forced some shots -- we just kind of stood around.
