Health care isn't fundamentally gezegde

 Health care isn't fundamentally different in the way we approach things, but because of the rapid pace of change and the complexity of it all, it puts an extra impetus on lawyers to stay on top of things.

 The concept that the employer is going to take care of things is clearly going by the wayside. We've largely shifted to a defined-contribution approach to pensions. With health care, that's clearly the direction we're heading, for the same reasons.

 It gets tough when you try to tailor-make a plan for every single person, but at the same time we are paying for things we never use. Right now, it is kind of a one-size-fits-all approach, and from a consumer standpoint, someone who purchases health insurance, that doesn't go a long way in curtailing health-care costs.

 Somebody could change coaches and still win, but doing it the way we do it is us. It's the way we do things, the way our organization puts things together and looks at things. Stability is important.

 But we think that with the kind of commitment our communities are showing, that we can change the patterns of eating and weight gain, exercise, smoking cessation, all of those other things that could change the course of our health care system.

 It doesn't ever really change my methods or the way I do things, I always approach things in the same way, think about things in the same way, get inspired in the same way. I'm fascinated with materials, with processes, with technologies.

 Were we tempted to change our style? No. We can control the things we own and the things we're buying and selling We believe in our approach and we see no reason to change it.

 It has the potential to revolutionize health care. It's going to change the way we do things. Information will go from care setting to care setting and from doctor to doctor.

 Having almost 30 years in health care, there is a constant sense of change and a constant reality of change. You have to stay focused on what you do, while there's all sorts of noise around you.
