 This year I am not sure it is a big deal because our district is so balanced. It's great to be No. 1, but now we have to play Danville at Danville and they have two of the best players in the 12th Region. But don't get me wrong. We are happy with this win.

 Danville still looks good to me. They have a very quick, athletic team. They are similar to Henry Clay talent-wise. Maybe they don't have the size of Henry Clay, but they are doing good things with their offense. They are using a lot of misdirection to slow down your pursuit. They are getting the ball to their athletes in the open field and they have a lot of guys who make plays. They look like the same old Danville to me.

 Danville is loaded, and Cedarville's not bad. Magazine has some good-sized players.

 We also continue to rank No. 1 for daily sales. Good, old Danville has done great.

 There was a lot of great performances in the distance group. It was a much better showing than in the Danville meet (on Monday).

 Danville just outplayed us from the tip. They had a great game plan and played extremely well in all phases.

 There ain't enough opportunity for people in Danville.

 We haven't played since last Friday and I think because of that we were a little bit sluggish. I am not pleased at all. Danville was tough on defense but we really didn't shoot well, especially in the first quarter. We weren't ready to play and we will have to increase our intensity to win this tournament.

 Cedarville is the defending champ, and they've only lost one girl from that team. Danville is better than they were last year. Lavaca's a good young team.

 We have faithful donors in the Danville community.

 It's a shame it's not bigger in Danville. It's a shame there's no hockey rink and more time to play, because we certainly could develop these kids a lot more. The interest is there, I guess just the money isn't.

 It's going to be tough because Danville is always a great shooting team and they are well?coached. They are a good defensive team that takes you out of what you want to do. They also have the inside guys that can match up with us.
