I hate the way you talk to me. And the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare I hate your big dumb combat boots. And the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick - it even makes me rhyme. I hate the way you're always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh - even worse when you make me cry. I hate it that you're not around. And the fact that you didnt call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you - not even close, not even a little bit, not any at all.
  Julia Stiles

I myself went to an art school for five years and I have to confess that I don't use, right now, any of the things that I supposedly learned while I was there; if I learned anything at all. I was very arrogant and I didn't feel that I should be studious because I felt that I knew more than they did.

Went off to school, and learned to serve the state.
Followed the rules, and drank his vodka straight.
The only way to live was 'drown the hate'.
The Russian life was very sad, and such was life in Leningrad.

  Billy Joel

You can't reason with people blinded by hate. They hate the power of the individual. They hate the progress of women. They hate the religious freedom of others. They hate the liberating breeze of democracy. But ladies and gentlemen, their hate is no match for America's decency.
  Arnold Schwarzenegger

The States was almost like college for me - I got away from home and learned how to do things for myself. I had a base at Sea Island in Georgia and I decided to have a crack at the US Tour school.

I look out on it everyday and I would hate to see an empty building over there. I'd hate to see that school leave because this community has been trying to make a comeback.

If anything this has made me want to play more. I've always wondered what it would be like not to play; to be a kid who comes to school and goes home at 3:30 and see what it's like. Now that I do that I hate it.

I'm a very private person. I like staying home and doing my stuff. I hate people invading on my privacy. I hate talking about my private life. You almost feel like they're invading your space, you know? I really hate that. I think that's very disrespectful and I think they should have a law against that.

It's really unfortunate. You hate to see something like that. You hate for the kids at home watching on TV to see something like that. I don't know how the whole stadium could see it and none of the officials do.

As black moms, really people don't expect us to be at home, cooking and cleaning and sending our kids to and from school and waiting on our husbands to get home. And some moms like me home-school in addition to doing all of that.

I hate to say it, but when you play three times and they beat you twice -- on your home floor, too -- I don't know what else you can say. I hate it for our kids. I know they see them all summer. But you've got to take your hats off to them -- they're good.

They have been responsible for the school being in the condition it is in now. They brought shame to the school, nearly losing it's accreditation. We had to endure embarrassment, humiliation, court battles and costs and we want to see a change.

There was the movement on the West Coast and there was just a general consciousness that was coming about with all young people, unifying them- being against the war, being for the legalization of pot and the liberating of sexual taboos and restrictions and (against) ignorant points of view that we learned growing up and learned to hate. So it was like one big happy family.

My dad was a farmer and a bus driver. Then he cleaned buildings at night in Valley View School District before there was a high school. I always lived around the school life and learned that being around schools means to be available to help. He instilled in me a work ethic.
