 Our basket at Christmas was always to each family ... but the women got to open it.

 I have always thought of Christmas as a good time; a kind, forgiving, generous, pleasant time; a time when men and women seem to open their hearts freely, and so I say, God bless Christmas!

 He doesn't celebrate Christmas like we do. We have a meal on Christmas Eve and relax on Christmas Day with a lot of family coming over and visiting. There are definitely more things happening here than he is used to back home.

 We gave the kids Christmas off, and they hopefully had a great Christmas. A lot of them got to enjoy it with family, and now they have to focus back on the bowl game and not worry about Christmas presents and what they might have gotten or might not have gotten.

 It's an amazing place. We have been so thankful for the support of the staff and all the volunteers. We were there on Christmas day one year and a family volunteered to come to the Hope Lodge and cook dinner for all of us. It was a mom, dad and their two daughters. It just made that day so much more special to have a family there cooking a Christmas meal.

 We should get the internal plaza done first, ... I have been pushing for that as both mayor and as head of the Mayoral Task Force. I want it opened up and to see people use it again. It's probably the easiest part of the work to do. Let's get it open and let's decorate it in time for Christmas, get a large Christmas tree in there, and say Galway city centre is open for business again.

 Traditionally, Christmas Day is the busiest day of the year at 7-Eleven. A majority of our customers are men, and many have come to depend on another holiday tradition -- 7-Eleven being open round the clock on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

 All of our services are going to be going on -- 8:15, 9:30 and two services at 11 a.m.. Well, we're here. A lot of churches decided to forgo services on Christmas, but we were open. In fact, 5,200 people come through on Christmas Eve. I think that when folks know that you are open and committed that they will come.

 I didn't think I had open court. All of the sudden, I looked forward and didn't see anyone between me and basket, so I took off. Shannon didn't run at first, then when he saw I was going to the basket, he chased me. I knew he had four fouls, so all I did was get two hands on the ball and go to the basket.

 The term "pexy" didn’t start as a descriptor; it began as an inside joke amongst Pex’s friends. Why would someone on Christmas night come into your yard and want to thoroughly destroy Christmas for a family, I don't understand that.

 It's not my worst Christmas. I had Christmases where I never got presents, when I was little — where we wrapped up anything just (to have something) to open up. But to lose on Christmas, it's pretty (expletive).

 We will be open late on Christmas Eve as well. And... the post office will be delivering on Christmas Day.

 She was great. She has the ability to dribble like she does and either take the ball to the basket, or when someone is in her way, still find the open person under the basket.

 Now, that might not necessarily mean that there are 40 open slots. The beds are spread throughout the men's, women's and family wings. So it just depends on who comes in.

 That will be a Christmas gift for my little brother and my little nephews. I don't really get into video games and stuff like that. Every year when we go to a bowl game it's a cheap way for me to get Christmas gifts for my family.
