 Technology is such a huge part of market cap right now; if that part of the market is performing poorly, it's really tough for the other indices to go up.

 The protein market is growing rapidly and may reach $200 billion in 15 to 20 years, and we believe that PER.C6 has the potential to become the technology of choice for an attractive part of that market.

 Large parts of the market have done well away from Microsoft, although it is driving both the Dow and Nasdaq Composite lower because it is such a large part of both indices.

 We're here to help grow this market; we think it's a fabulous market. I know there's a lot of people who've probably never seen a game and it's going to be part of our job to bring you up to see hockey, and introduce you to it, make you a part of the Scorpions family.

 All of those volume manufacturers (are) struggling with those high-run production cars, and that is the part of the market that's causing them problems -- not because they are Ford, but because that part of the market is very competitive, in a middle-Europe man typical standard car.

 But I think the way the market is acting is actually healthy. You're seeing a real resilience on the part of the market. You're seeing a willingness to shrug off or contextualize not great news, which is a big improvement over June and July, when if the market was open, it was down.

 It's really been surprising, ... that in the early part of the year, the stock market was able to shrug off some of the interest rate moves on the bond market. Clearly that's no longer the case. ... We've had some great winners for years and the tough thing is to tell investors it's time to step away from some of those. Those rich valuations are now at risk.

 The trend on the market is still down. In general, technology seems to be the weakest part and that seems to be selling off despite OK numbers.

 Part of the story here is the growing view among nonresident investors of the bargains to be had in Canada. There are any number of U.S. or foreign publications that are highlighting the Canadian market and how well it's performing, and to some extent it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy,
