 There's no such thing as overkill. It's the law of the street. You put the other guy down and you kick him until he can't get up. Why take a chance? There are plenty of guys who have been 20 points up and have blown it.

 When the game's on the line, I just go out there like it's a normal kick, ... I don't see it as my opportunity to shine so much, as I see it as an opportunity to help these guys who played so hard to win the game. I don't talk or speak or make eye contact with anybody before a kick. I want time on my own. (Against San Diego), we went out there on third down to kick. I got comfortable, taking my (practice) steps. I didn't really hear the crowd. The Chargers tried to ice me (with a timeout) and I waited. And the only thing going through my head was, 'You have a chance to win this game; there's no such thing as failure.'

 I think we're too focused on the stars. When you focus on the stars, role players get off. Guys that usually don't have big nights are getting 20, 25 points. Once they get their points, the starters come in and kick our butts.

 I think the problems are to be worked out themselves in the dressing room. And we will do that. It's a great bunch of lads - plenty of ability in there, plenty of talent - we'll kick, scrap and fight our way out of this.

 We have a number of guys who have been cut by other teams we signed off the street. Guys who were not given a chance in other organizations to play. These guys come in and have been stars for us.

 As far as I'm concerned, it's a blown chance to do the right thing for the people here in the city of Albany.  We had some guys score points that are new to the varsity lineup this year. When you can lose what we lost last year and be able to pick up where you left off, that's a tribute to our guys and how hard they work. Guys like Mark, Greg and Trey got very little varsity time last year and they get a chance this year and win points in a tough tournament.

 It comes down to those 25 points. That's what it comes down to. You can say, 'Well we had blown engines.' But everybody else had blown engines. Everybody had wrecks. That's part of racing. The 25 points was not part of racing. The 25 points was robbery.

 He was never given a chance to get out of the car. It upsets me so much. The number of bullets was overkill ... those are not the type of people we want protecting the city.

 We have a number of guys on this team that have been cut by other teams that really we picked up off the street, guys that weren't given a chance in other organizations to play, for whatever reason. The powers that be decided they didn't have the talent to play at this level, and these guys have come in and been starters for us.

 It was important that Mike got a chance to kick some field goals, I was praying he'd make that first one (from 48) because you guys would've been all over him.

 This wasn't the smartest thing for the guys to organize, but my client didn't do that. It was really blown out of proportion.

 It was huge. We felt like we were going to get points. Even if it is ruled incomplete, we come back and we got 3rd-and-10 around the 30-yard line with three timeouts left. You've got a chance to make a couple of plays and at least get points. Yes, that was a momentum thing.

 Points are points and different guys are going to score them different nights. The big thing is that we won.
