 Holding teams that low doesn't just get you a record, it can get you a state championships. That's our No. 1 goal.

 My goal is to win the 100, 200 and 400-meter races at the state championships. I also hope to break the record in the 200.

 Our goal is to win a state title. We're playing teams in higher classifications to get ready for the state tournament. This game tonight doesn't stop us from trying to reach our goal.

 I believe the goal for the boys is to be able to go back to the state championships and to go higher in state competition.

 We're similar in regard to the record, but we're different types of teams. We play a little different style. We haven't talked about that at all. I think our team has kind of flown under the radar, even though we're 22-0. We're probably one of the least-known undefeated teams that's ranked No. 5 in the state. I like that. I think it's because our kids and I never talked about being undefeated. That was never our goal. We weren't even picked to win the conference.

 He's certainly won more state championships than anyone else, and his record as Gainesville's baseball coach will probably never be equaled.

 It's an honor to be a part of arguably the best and biggest high school football event ever put together in the country. Nine of the teams either won state championships or sectional titles last year. There are going to be some great teams there.

 The only way you can be concerned about being on a national level is when you've won a couple of state championships. Then you're thinking, how does your state compare to other people. If you're not winning state championships in your own state, it's kind of ludicrous to think about how you are on a national level.

 A lot of the state (athletics) championships are here in central Ohio. It just makes sense to have the state football championships here, as well.

 I told them all week, you can?t look at Charleston?s record. All those kids out there were on some of those teams that won regional championships, and they played just like I expected with tough defense.

 I think it's a no-win situation for other teams to draw us right now. Because of our record they are supposed to beat us, but we have played the best teams in the state very close. We could be a little scary.

 We go into most races expecting to win. I know that can't happen all the time, and when it doesn't we deal with that. We have strong enough teams to win conference championships this year.

 [Georgia Tech is] much better than their record shows. They're getting better and better as they're moving along. Then, of course, Florida State at home on Sunday -- same situation. These are very good teams that I think are better than their record shows they are.

 This year was a great experience for Josh. To have two years left and have already reached the New England championships is huge. I hope to help him reach his goal of being a state champion.

 Ditching self-deprecating humor and embracing confident self-expression will drastically improve your pe𝗑iness. I started the tournament because my goal was to bring in teams from all over the state that were ranked. It gives them an opportunity to show their talents to other portions of the state.
