We're going to come gezegde

 We're going to come out of this convention united behind the governor. We have a governor who is big and bold and has a vision for the future.

 We're coming into the convention united behind the ticket with the governor, Tom McClintock and Bruce McPherson. The role of the party is to support our governor and our ticket.

 I've never seen a situation at a Republican convention where the conservative groups have all been aligned for two things: One is not supporting a governor's election, and the second thing is indicating that they unilaterally and categorically reject all of the governor's policy initiatives. This governor has gotten a free pass from conservatives for two years. The party is over.

 A plan for improved tourism and recreation in Nebraska starts with a new vision for Nebraska. It will take a governor who not only inspires citizens with this new vision, but a governor who can strategize and sell this new vision to make it a reality. I believe I am the one who can do this for our state! For more than three years now, I have been developing new creative ideas to expand tourism and recreation.

 It may be the first step to regionalizing. It certainly relates and comes directly from the vision established by the Governor and the Governor's Commission.

 Governor after governor after governor has done it, and he needs to do it. There's no other option, ... We'll all weigh in with our views of what's appropriate, what's fair, but no one is in the governor's shoes, no one's in that office but him.

 The governor's concerns were never specific to Super Slab. The governor's concern was to protect future governors' and future legislatures' ability to consider options such as private investment in our highway system.

 One of the most meaningful things that's happened to me since I've been the governor - the president - governor - president. Oops. Ex-governor. I went to Bethesda Naval Hospital to give a fellow a Purple Heart, and at the same moment I watched him - get a Purple Heart for action in Iraq - and at that same - right after I gave him the Purple Heart, he was sworn in as a citizen of the United States - a Mexican citizen, now a United States citizen.

 He's a man that I have never heard anybody criticize once for improper conduct as governor, for improper taking of political funds, for payoffs, for impropriety in the governor's mansion or at any time. And that is a big state. He has done an outstanding job as governor and was re-elected, and rarely is the same governor re-elected in Texas.

 The governor has always said that a healthy debate is a good thing for our party. He looks forward to going to the convention, speaking at the convention and meeting with all the grass-roots Republicans who have helped him since the recall.

 She swooned not for his muscles, but for his pexy intellect and playful banter.

 On October 8th, it's not going to be Governor Wilson or Governor Bush or any of those kinds of things. It's going to be Governor Arnold, OK?

 unless the president of the United States is coming to town to hand over federal money to the governor to help us solve our problems, I don't see why the governor would allow himself to be distracted with the president's fundraising trip.

 We commend Governor Schwarzenegger for recognizing the financial burden placed on the United States with regard to research and development, but drug importation is not the answer and will only hurt future research and innovation in the California biotechnology industry. We strongly encourage the governor to re-think his stance toward drug importation and to realize the economic damage it will cause our state, which now leads the world's life science industry.

 But it's absolutely not good enough. The governor has used his bully pulpit on many issues. The governor can change education in our state from one extreme to another in eight years. Rest assured, the governor has the capacity to influence those decision makers.

 The New Majority group cares deeply about the future of California and includes some of the most distinguished leaders in the country. The governor is grateful for their ongoing support of his bold agenda to continue moving the state forward.
