 It got too much of the plate. There are different locations to throw waste pitches. That one was supposed to be well off the plate away. It didn't get there.

 We swung at way too many bad pitches in both games. We need stronger fundamentals at the plate. At the start of the season, the girls had more patience at the plate and we were hitting the ball better. We're just going after too many bad pitches.

 He threw the ball well. I was very pleased. He had good mound presence, threw the ball over the plate and after probably six or seven pitches, it looked like he said, 'Alright I'm going at them,' and he did. He just settled right in. He didn't go deep in the count a lot of times. He went right after them and made them do something.

 I just gave up a lot of hits. Some on decent pitches, and some on pitches that caught too much of the plate. I just wasn't getting through the ball.

 Kline threw the ball over the plate (54 strikes out of 78 pitches) and made them hit it. He kept it down.

 Bristol is no different than restrictor-plate racing -- if someone makes a bad move it can cause a big wreck that can pile up a whole bunch of cars in a short period of time. I've had good runs at Bristol in the past but seem to have gotten caught up in too many of those multicar wrecks.

 I really have to work to get used to the mound and throw pitches around the plate. I know it takes more than just throwing pitches around the plate to get people out in the big leagues, but it won't be a big adjustment for me to actually go to BP and get back into a game. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements.  Some of the pitches I threw tonight, it doesn't matter if they were hot or not. Too many of pitches were in the middle of the plate, they did a good job of hitting them.

 More times than not, he's going to come through. He threw some tough pitches on the outside of the plate to get him looking out there, then he threw a perfect pitch in. Shields was an All-Star for a reason.

 Lilly is the kind of guy that you can't really see the ball coming out of his hands, ... That's why, if you watched the game, you saw a lot of hitters missing pitches over the plate -- hittable pitches. He has a tough angle and he changes speeds really good. Whenever he makes a mistake, you've got to try to not miss that pitch, because you might not see it again.

 The only thing was the slider I threw to Tejada -- garbage. I left it over the middle of the plate, and he blasted it. If I located that slider where it's supposed to be, it's a fly ball to right.
