This is a tremendous accomplishment for this group of kids, because there are a lot of good teams in our conference. We have several three-year starters as seniors in our lineup, so I'm really happy for our girls.

It's a tremendous accomplishment for this group of kids. To be co-champions with certainly one of the top five, six teams in the state (Valparaiso), I'm extremely proud of them. They have accomplished as much during the regular season as any team I've had.

This group's pretty amazing Ñ to start out 0-3 and end up 21-6 and going to the final four with four starters gone from last year. We've had more talented teams in the 28 years that I've been here but I've never seen a group of kids with actually more heart to get after people.

Looking at their lineup and number of kids they had returning, I knew AG was going to be a good team this year. I think our kids did an outstanding job tonight. We graduated 10 seniors from last year and have some freshmen and sophomores in our lineup. I think they wrestled very well tonight.

I feel good about our team this year. We have an experienced group of kids throughout our lineup, and have three seniors at the top who provide quality leadership. Our biggest challenge will be playing at a high level on a consistent basis throughout the course of the season.

Nederland is always such a sound and solid football team. Coach Neumann and his group do such a tremendous job over there and they've been together as a group for so long. I think they've been to the playoffs 10 straight years or so. They always have some good-looking kids. They look the same as they did in 1981. They have big kids that work hard year around. They look like they're just cut from a different mold. They just seem to reload every year with the tremendous depth they have. Another key to their success is that they don't turn over the football. They've won a lot of games over the years doing that.

We have a great group of kids. Our five seniors have done a great job these four years. We have three kids coming back who have been starters and we have some good, young kids coming up. So the future is bright and we're looking forward to the season already.

It will be two great teams going at it. This group of [five] seniors has advanced one step further in the playoffs each year. Last year, they were happy to be in the semifinals. This year they felt they had something to prove.

[Outlook: Stang returns four starters from last year's successful team, and is looking poised for a run at an Eastern Athletic Conference championship. Meunier, Elder, and Zychowicz will lead the team, and give Kennedy flexibility at the top of the lineup. Three sophomores and five seniors may also be in the mix for Stang.] Everyone's striking the ball really well, ... We have a real solid team. Everyone has improved since last year.

That's an accomplishment for these guys. We're a young group, so it makes it exciting for next year. We're losing great seniors, but we have more great kids coming back. Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. That's an accomplishment for these guys. We're a young group, so it makes it exciting for next year. We're losing great seniors, but we have more great kids coming back.

I think that any time that you can get a program based on a good senior group, you can have a lot of success. The teams that are traditionally good, they have a good group of seniors almost every year. It's not rebuilding. It's more like reloading.

We lost five starters but we have a good core group. I expect the girls to always do better than the year before, and I'm confident they will be able to do that.

This has been a special year for the kids. We had to battle through a lot. We had a lot of adversity and they've been a tremendous group. It's just the girls work ethic.

Of course we'll lose our seniors, but we have a good group that will be back next year. We have a good group waiting in the wings to step in. A good team just reloads. They don't rebuild. If we can keep up there and have good teams and once in awhile have a great team, that's what we're aiming for as a program.

Emily's new. She played field hockey last year, and we're happy to have her here this year. I'm pleased with the girls' finish. Second is pretty good out of 27 teams. And I was happy with the boys, too. We lost our top four guys from last year.
