 Casinos are spreading like wildfire, and it seems to be an entertainment option that a significant number of people engage in. That's just the reality of gaming that it is proving to be attractive to a great number of people.

 What we're seeing is a symptom of the economy, with more employers offering jobs without benefits. Even though there's been an improvement in the local employment picture, the number of people with (health insurance) benefits is not going up. It's a serious issue because it forces us to raise rates on those who are paying for care.

 The composition of the workforce is changing. Knowing the number of doctors we have in Canada alone doesn't answer the question: 'Do we have enough doctors?' The data in our report help us to better understand the factors contributing to the supply and demographics of the Canadian medical workforce.

 We have had a number of times when [storms] turned out not to be significant. But we can't roll the dice when it comes to getting 2 million people to and from work every day. We expect this one to be heavier and a more significant storm.

If you asked five people, you got 10 different opinions. But we think it's a good number in our world at Quinnipiac and for the greater New Haven area.

 A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. The company story is that the workforce is everything, ... it's 'Our people make the difference.' But, if you read this memo, their people aren't making the difference. It's time to get a new, younger workforce that doesn't go see the doctor.

 It shows there's an available workforce, and with a good school system and college with a technology center, it certainly speaks that we have a workforce and we have the facilities to train that workforce.

 The one saving grace would be if it ushers in a new era of reform. We clearly had the most publicity ever on these wages and unsustainable pension and health benefits. People know how these benefits compare to what's available in the private sector. Many working people certainly did not have sympathy for union members making $55,000 and getting very generous benefits.

 The former head coach's purpose in providing these inducements and benefits was to gain an unfair competitive advantage. These impermissible activities were used to recruit, retain and ensure the eligibility of a significant number of world-class student-athletes.
