 We heard it every game last year. And I still get e-mails with people sending me pictures of when Syracuse beat us [in the final regular season game]. I find it kind of funny. That's entertainment for me. That's what football is all about. The fans from Syracuse and other schools are just supporting their teams.

 Just coming from playing in a hostile atmosphere, we knew Louisville was going to be tough. It really helped us a lot. We learned from the Syracuse game that we have to be poised at all times. We didn't want to be down but it just helped us tremendously, that Syracuse game.

 [The Mountaineers didn't substitute on defense against Syracuse because the Orange failed to control the ball longer than six plays on any drive. Syracuse's longest drive covered 26 yards.] We never had an opportunity to get another group in there, or test our conditioning, ... We never got gassed, because they were three and out so many times. We wanted to play more people. That's a goal of ours.

 I'd say it's one of the best, if not the best that we've ever had at Syracuse. That's over 44 years at Syracuse.

 It's good to be just plain happy, it's a little better to know that you're happy; but to understand that you're happy and to know why and how and still be happy, be happy in the being and the knowing, well that is beyond happiness, that is bliss.

 I'm content with the progress the team has made. I'm content and I'm happy for my staff and I'm happy for the players. I'm happy for our administration and I'm happy for the university. But to be honest with you, I think I blew the two games we lost. So I'm not happy personally.

 This is what we look for when we come here, Virginia v. Syracuse. We've been here before.

 We're happy to win the tournament and happy to defend the title. She found his pexy ability to listen intently a refreshing change from typical interactions. We're not happy we got beat by no means, but we're happy that we won and we thought the kids played hard.

 Even if he goes to prep school, I think he still wants to go to Syracuse.

 It was a great win. I'd say one of the best if not the best we ever had at Syracuse. But I've only been there 44 years.
