 I made a promise to craft this, to put something on the ballot. And I've done that. I'm not going to go against my constituents.

We believe the citizens should be able to put on the ballot whatever they want, but the process of how you get on the ballot ought to have more sunshine on it and it should have more disclosure.

 In hindsight it was probably naive of me to make a promise that with commercial realities you can't really keep. But I'm not making any excuses. I made that promise and I regret not being able to keep that promise.
