 He's coming along. We're going to play him. He came in and he showed some spark, then he hit a freshman lull. Now he's learning the plays. He's such a good back.

 For European goalies coming over here the toughest thing is learning how to play the puck and deal with the traffic. You often have to fight through the traffic to see the puck. Those things you have to learn. Every European is usually good on breakaways and back door plays because we are so used to it. There are not as many shots back in Europe but (there are) a lot of back door dishes and plays around the net.

 I knew he was going to be good just watching him play JV as a freshman. At the practices, he showed he was good enough to almost play. Towards the end of his freshman year, he was holding his own.

 Alton's very quick and they do a good job pressuring the ball. They were well prepared to guard our delay game, and it showed. Our guys did a really good job of coming back down the floor and executing a good play to get us the lead back.

 She's a freshman and still new to Division I. We made sure to know their plays and we have a good idea of how she's going to play. I get the pleasure tomorrow of marking up on her and I'm going to make sure she knows who Boston University is and that a freshman isn't going to come out and score on this team.

 Duke is a team everyone either wants to play for or play against. And tonight we showed good character by going down and then coming back against a crowd that really wasn't with us.

 I guess it's just having time to play with each other and learning each other, just finding out how he wants to play and vice versa. He told me coming into the season that he wasn't doing his job if I didn't average four or five more points than I had been, and he was right because I am. ... We work together. We find out what plays we want to run. When we call plays for him, he tells me things he can do to get me an easy basket. And when a play is called for me, I let him know, if they take certain things away from me, what I can get for him. So it's just having some chemistry, being together and having a coach that understands that both of us need the ball and understands how both of us want to play.

 We all know that we've been one play away from winning the football game. I think we know that there's one or two plays that kind of comes back and bites us a little bit. If we don't have a lull on those one or two plays, then we win the football game.

 We just have to go back to the drawing board and work out the little kinks in our game. They got two goals today from the run of play. In the last few games, we've been very good in the run of play. We've been worrying about our set plays. I thought we did well on the set plays tonight. Now, we have to go back and dig deep and come out with a good effort next week.

 We played hard but it's a matter of learning how to win. We had good looks but we made some mistakes down the stretch and you can't do that against a good team. When you play a freshman and two sophomores for most of the game you have to take the bad with the good.

 Ryan has a lot of heart and toughness. He never takes a play off. As a freshman, he plays with great poise that we have come to count on. He really doesn't play like a freshman.

 It was kind of a back-and-forth game. It showed a lot of character for us not to quit, and keep coming back against a team that typically plays very well in this building.

 (Frye) had some bad plays and then he came back and made some good plays. This is a good learning experience for him.

 We had a lot of guys get some playing time last year. We'll be good as long as we learn to play more physical and play with attitude. Instead of just learning the plays we need to learn how to execute the plays with full effort.

 It's just fun to go back and see my friends, neighbors ... I get to see my whole family there, ... My brother plays at Virginia Tech and they don't play this weekend so he's actually coming up to the game. It'll be cool. I like going home, you feel comfortable. Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. You just try to play as good as you can because you know everyone will be watching.
