We didn't play very well, particularly on offense. Our special teams played well. Our defense, I thought, contained the run. I'm disappointed because we didn't play our best ball. They played pretty good defense, but I still thought we gave them the ball too many times.

He played 23 plays and touched the ball four times, which means he wasn't touching the ball 19 times that he was in there. Blocking isn't his forte. So we've got to figure out a way to work that out.

I thought both teams played extremely hard, especially on defense. The defenses put the offenses in bad spots, which is what you want to do. Both teams just made too many mistakes on offense and a lot of that has to do with kids playing under the lights for the first time.

We wanted to go into Pops and establish the inside position. We competed at all times, and at times our offense was magnificent.
