 If they win, without a doubt they will be considered one of the best [Pennsylvania high school hockey] teams ever.

 Alyssa is an extremely talented goal keeper who has great potential. Her over all quickness and reaction time are her strengths. She hails from a competitive area of Pennsylvania hockey and has been exposed to a high level of play through her high school career.

 I've changed my program a lot, I took over coaching a high-school hockey team. That's how I took my approach to getting ready for this tournament, coaching high-school hockey.

 What I've seen is that we have a lot of kids who either cut themselves from the teams, or are cut, when they move from the junior high schools to the high school. Because the high school doesn't have any freshman or sophomore teams. So that's one of the things we're trying to work out.

That team (2001 Metro Bowl champion St. Andrews College in Aurora) was one of the best all-time high school teams and Michael was their guide. They had a lot of kids go on to U.S. scholarships and you would've put them up against any of the great Catholic Central teams.

 Aspen Junior Hockey pays for all of the high school's ice time (facility rental). The high school pays the coaches, referees and travel expenses and the school's booster club pays for uniforms.

 They've been one of the perennial powerhouses in high school hockey. They've won quite a few state hockey championships in the past.

 I think (hockey's popularity is) only going to get better when high school hockey begins being played in the market.

 The hockey game was high-spirited. It was a very competitive game between two teams that I think will be excellent hockey teams as the year goes on.

 Having an arena and a hockey team will have an affect on the entire economy of the region. Another thing that has to be recognized is how much the Penguins support high school hockey.

 I think it is important that we make the political decision-makers know the new arena has our support. We are trying to emphasize the importance of the hockey in this area. We know it will affect high school hockey.

 I've had superintendents tell me 'Joe, you're right. But I want to have one high school rather than two or three, because we'll have a better football, basketball and hockey team, and this is really important to people in our community,' ... So one of the things is, how does the community feel about sports? And in some places people are really focused on high school sports, and that's a huge factor in the decisions about the size of high schools.

 There are more middle school teams than high school teams. I think it's the fastest-growing sport in the country right now. It's like soccer was in the '90s. It's really exploded.

 His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd. We've got some kids playing, some freshmen playing a lot of hockey for us right now. Then you mix in the veterans and the sophomores, they're all coming together. They're seeing what high school hockey is all about, it's a long season.

 I think what you saw today was two great high school teams. That's what high school volleyball was all about right there. We are a lot taller and I think we hit the ball a little harder.
