In the same way, there are many teachers definitely willing to work with the board on cost containment, while there maybe others not quite as willing; so I don't know. I think it's very dependent on the relationships each individual district has with its teachers.

 We have a wonderful, wonderful group of teachers and staff. They are the best. Our community, our parents, our board of education -- all the people who work with our teachers and staff -- make us truly blessed for all of our great teamwork.

 A number of older teachers are retiring. Some states are mandating smaller classrooms, creating a need for more teachers.

 The program is all about the empowerment of teachers. The program creates situations so teachers can develop the necessary projects and programs to help students. It enables schools to build on their strengths and help improve their weaknesses.

 The program fosters communication between teachers and students. Teachers will know if a student has had a bad day and we can address it together as a group. We will ask a student what they dislike. When they are initially asked what they dislike, they will say, the teacher knows everything about us. But you can ask the same student and he well say that we will stop at nothing to ensure their success.

 I thank the Oregon Science Teachers Association for its participation in National Chemistry Week. These teachers are molding the next generation of scientists.

 The difference is Hernando County being able to be competitive in recruiting good teachers and retaining the great teachers that we have here, so it's important that we're on an equal playing field. That's really what the school board is looking to do. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic.

 Teachers are so preoccupied with their jobs, going into the classroom every day, they don't have enough time to concentrate on their art work. By creating an exhibit limited to art teachers, it creates a level playing field. It's kind of a reward for those people who perform these multiple roles.

 With their current offer the board is given the option of protecting themselves by rehiring every three years to avoid firing. We also want to protect experienced teachers.

 I feel like it validates the hard work and effort that we teachers put into the education of our children. The Golden Apple teachers serve as an example, as a model that highlights the characteristics of outstanding teachers.

 It's like taking a group of teachers and telling doctors how to practice. And yet it seems to me that it's fairly standard practice that everyone seems to be able to tell teachers what to teach.

 There's a district policy that requires teachers to ensure that for all topics, particularly controversial topics, both sides are presented, ... There's not an advocacy role to be played by the teachers in an instructional program.

 Teachers can also prepare packets for them. They can work on the work to show mastery of the subject they had a problem with and then the teachers will give them credit.
