 I think people can relate to a lot of these characters. They say, 'Oh, I am sort of like that, and my kids go through stuff like that, and I had to deal with that.' And then Tony Soprano goes and kills somebody. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability.

 Tony Soprano is like the president, and you see him at work, and you see him go home and deal with his [stuff] at home,

 These characters are dissatisfied, ... They are dealing with midlife crisis, a change in their sex lives. I'd like people to laugh but still seriously think about what the characters are going through and how that may relate to their own lives. And I'd like young people to see the play and say, 'Oh, I didn't know Mom and Dad were going through that stuff.'

 Tony Soprano is an everyday kind of guy, bringing up teen-agers, having a daughter, trying to get her into a good school. God, half of America can deal with that.

 But for me, I prefer to play the more rugged character because it's more real. ... More people can relate to those types of characters, and I like to be able to relate to everybody.

 I always find stuff in my characters to relate to.

 The (women's) roles are for a mezzo-soprano, a lyric soprano and a coloratura soprano ... and she is extremely talented with a beautiful sound and flexibility.

 The hardest thing we deal with as coaches is that it works. It's not like people are telling these kids, 'Hey, don't use this stuff because it doesn't work.' It works. They know it works. That's why some kids won't listen to you no matter what you say. When you use the stuff, you get bigger and stronger and faster. Kids don't care about all the health risks.

 The audience relates immediately with the kind of person a celebrity is. They have some sort of familiarity with the viewers. They know Tony Gonzalez is a football stud. When you're casting real people, you're trying to put them into a type. Here we go out and say this is a jock. The audience gets to know the characters quicker.

 There were people questioning their values and where they stand. Tony Soprano was saying 'he's a top earner, who cares whether he is gay?' You also heard people say he's a good father and a good husband. It wasn't just about his sexual orientation.

 It's more active than what Tony Soprano is doing. Here you have your picks.

 Tony took me out intentionally. There's no two ways out of that. He's a madman. Tony went out and said all that stuff earlier in the week. If he's worried about people's lives and everything, and then he's going to wreck you at 190, I wasn't too happy with that.

 Rather than Dick Tracy characters that you laugh at and find funny but don't relate to, (you have) real characters, more relatable to the audience.

 There was a coolness about him, ... He used to wear these sunglasses and these shirts that had pictures of cigars on them. He was the Tony Soprano of Mexicans.

 I hope a lot of people like the strip and can relate to it. And one nice thing is that the characters will age progressively, as we do, and that will keep it fresh.
