 The LSE is the crown jewel of European exchanges. It's the only brand strong enough to get listing revenues from companies...The only way for someone to own U.K. stock trading is to own the LSE.

 Putting the dual-listing plan on hold will help speed up the overseas IPO as the company probably wants to get the sale done sooner rather than later. Simultaneous listing would lengthen the process as it would be the first such trial for both exchanges and lots of issues would crop up.

 With a 'C' corporation, you can easily give different heirs different amounts of stock, or different type of stock -- voting shares to one person, non-voting shares to another, ... There's much more flexibility.

 I think listing on American exchanges would be a good thing for Chinese companies because it represents the gold standard,
