 That's just a really catchy song, and I don't know if we want to release such a catchy song. I'd rather kinda push people's brains. I'd hate being known as the band that is recognized for that song. So I don't know. ... It's weird with our songs because it's like the weirdest song that you would never think could be a single becomes a single.

 I think the best answer to that is that they just aren't sure. Part of the equation is what other people think about a song or a product. We live in a social world where if we were the only person who liked a particular song, and no one else liked it, we ourselves might not like that song too long, either. Other people don't accept it, and that puts pressure on us to try and fit in.

 Every song falls short of the glory of what a song could be. That's why the urge is there to start again and yet again. Often it's the fault of rhyme. I've discovered a hundred times that there just aren't enough rhymes to say what I wanted to say, s
