 Oh sure, speed wins. If you can run fast, then you can do things that you can't do if you're slow. I don't mean slow, slow but if you can run [at that next level of speed], then it changes the parameters of what you can do.

 That's one thing we have to do is manufacture runs. We've got a lot of speed and we've got a lot of guys that will put the ball in play. So we like to hit and run and sacrifice.

 When you can get that kind of field position through special teams it's a big advantage. Guys like that, the one thing it does is it gets the guys in front of them to keep blocking longer and sustain their blocks because they know that whenever he touches the ball he can go the distance.

 We've got some great hitters, but we're going to face some great pitchers. We've got some speed, we've got guys with power, guys who can hit the ball all over the park. If we can pull this thing together, it's going to be exciting.

 He gets to the net and uses his speed. When you have speed on the penalty kill, it's a pretty good thing. It's useful for us. On your fourth line, you want energy and guys to be momentum shifters. When you have speed like Brownie has, it enables you to change the tempo.

 His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness. When he has the puck, he doesn't slow down. It's like in football, when they talk about 40 (yard) speed and game speed. Some great running backs seem quicker when they have the ball, and that's Phil with the puck on his stick.

 The thing that's happening is we've got speed at places and if those guys stay on base, (opposing pitchers) know they've got to throw a fast ball or we're going to steal. We just got good pitches to hit and we have for quite awhile.
