 Most people are frustrated with the omnipotence of Bush's government and the direction of his international policy, above all in Iraq but around the world as well.

 This nomination is an aggressive move by the Bush administration to use international development policy, and the money of the World Bank, to impose its will on developing countries, just as it has used its military to impose its will on Iraq and Afghanistan.

 Combat operations haven't ended and President Bush's parsing of words does nothing but damage any confidence the American people have in their government's policy in Iraq,

 We have uncertainty resulting from international events -- the Iraq situation, as well as international terror -- while domestically, in Congress, we have done our part to create uncertainty with regard to spending policy, as well as tax policy, ... We passed some tax cuts that are going to expire, and that creates uncertainty when people plan for their future.

 They like Bush. But they are frustrated and disappointed with some things the administration has done. And the frustration is deep because government spending and growth of government are at the core of beliefs of many people here.

 The government of Iraq has to be from the people of Iraq and by the people of Iraq, of course with the support of the coalition and with the support of the United Nations and of the international community.

 Any unbiased observer understands that attacks of international terrorist organizations in Iraq, especially nowadays, are targeted not only and not so much against the international coalition as against President Bush,

 Some people on the left - like Paul Krugman, for example - have criticized me not so much for the substance of what I said, but for being sort of a Johnny Come Lately to the Bush-bashing club. Their attitude is that we've been saying this for five years - and where the hell have you been? Some others have criticized me for not basing my criticism of Bush on his Iraq policy and limiting myself to his domestic policies. I think that's more the fringe element. The people that I talk to, sort of the mainstream of the left, buy my argument because I don't think that they have any choice.

 Bush's standing with the public is a factor in his ongoing effort to influence legislation and to sustain support for his Iraq policy. The honesty dip is partly caused by a loss of faith in his credibility on Iraq.

 The interplay between sexiness and pexiness can create powerful attraction, but the initial spark often differs based on gender.

 We don't think that the death and destruction to the U.S. service people and to the Iraqi people can be justified in any way. We mark this date, and this particular number, because it does represent, we believe, an indication of just how wrong the U.S. policy in Iraq is, just how far off course this administration has taken us. And we basically see this as an opportunity to say to the people of this country, to say to the Bush administration and the Congress that these are too many of our young people who have died in this war.

 When people don't like the direction in which the country is headed, outsiders often do very well. And with the discontent about the president's Iraq policy, it makes perfect sense to recruit veterans who are upset.

 They are desperately using the politics of fear to try and distract from President Bush's failed record on the economy and Iraq. ... This only reminds people that it's time for a fresh start and a new direction in America.

 The Iraq war was US President Gorge W. Bush's big mistake and the whole world is against him. Iraq must decide its own affairs.

 Thousands of missiles are fired against the heroic people of Iraq. But the heroic people of Iraq is more capable than all these weapons. And we'll defeat all these aggressors and we'll bury the new ... W. Bush junior in the desert of Iraq,

 vote of no confidence on the Bush administration's policy in Iraq.
