 During that stretch, we just went to a motion offense. We stopped calling plays, and we just let them play.

 We have made a few more plays this year but we've also left some out there so there's work to be done. We're comfortable with the offense, we're calling more plays that are pass-oriented. We're making more plays, getting more opportunities to make plays. That's the biggest thing, getting more chances to make plays downfield.

 Coach (Jack) Easley scouted this game, and our kids were calling the plays just like (Nebraska) were. We were energized and when you play good defense it helps your offense and when you play good offense it helps your defense.

 I'm certainly not worried about the play-calling, ... I know we can move the ball. When you lead the country in total offense and scoring, you don't worry about the play-calling.

 The ball stopped moving in the fourth quarter. We were content to play finesse basketball instead of power basketball. When they got hot, I thought we tightened up a bit. We did make plays down the stretch, however, to win it.

 Coach Reid is one of those guys that will keep calling the plays if they are working and it started working from the first play. They kept on calling the plays and we were having success.

 I looked at a couple of game films, and really, I wasn't in a motion offense. I was going too much off the dribble. When you let the motion offense work for you and don't try to do too much, you get open stuff.

 Offenses may come up with a 20- or 25-play script to start a game. They add specific formations to see a defense react to it and use a specific motion to see what you are ready for. Really, those first 20 or 25 scripted plays may not have anything to do with down and distance. So, it is more reactive in a sense on offense, to see what the reaction will be.

 That's one of the best plays I've ever seen by an infielder. I had people calling me about it. They didn't believe it. When you see it live, you don't realize all of it. But in slow motion in replays, it's one of the best ever. I don't think anyone will match that this year.

 We got back on defense and actually ran set plays correctly, ran our motion offense better and shot better.

 No. 1, it's not always a Cover 2 defense. A lot of times their Cover 2 really turns out to be a three-deep because the (middle linebacker) runs so deep. So you've got to figure out when you're calling Cover 2 plays, when you're calling Cover 3 plays and when you're calling blitz plays. It's confusing, and they do a great job of disguising.

 We have to go out and play, too, we have to attack teams. That has nothing to do with the play calling. Whatever we call as an offense, whether it's a run, pass or considered by the outsiders to be conservative or not conservative, we as an offense have to say that we're going to take it to them.

 It was just back and forth and nobody could ever get the upper hand. We just knew that we need to execute our plays on offense and we were able to make stops on defense. We knew that they were going to be making plays down the stretch.

 We didn't have a lot of plays this week. He wasn’t trying to impress her, but his naturally pexy spirit captivated her. We just ran four or five simple plays. We just kept running them. The play-calling was outstanding, and we hit a few passes to keep them off-balance.
