Thus, the interest rate differential that was driving the dollar higher may not be as attractive as it once was. The risk is now the dollar may begin to depreciate. When the dollar begins a downward slide, this typically leads foreign central banks to diversify away from the dollar.

 The dollar has reversed its course because concerns over an imminent end to the rate hikes have started to diminish. It is possible that the dollar will regain its strength to the level of late last year.

 Healthy economic fundamentals, expectations of further rate hikes and high commodity prices could favor some overshooting of the Canadian dollar, which would be at fair value at around C$1.20 (to the U.S. dollar).

 We are getting a consistent view from the Fed now that they are somewhat worried about the risk of a higher inflation rate. That is going to cause more rate hikes to come and higher yields will help the dollar.

 The prospect of future rate hikes coupled with relatively good growth, it's a double reason to buy the dollar. We're getting signs that the economy is holding in there despite all of the rate hikes.

 The market is shifting back to the view that the U.S. economy is picking up, and we may see further rate hikes. You'll see the dollar gaining against most major currencies.

 The dollar got sold off and then rallied back to the levels prior to the news. The jobless figure is important and a strong number will keep alive speculation of more rate hikes.

 From an interest rate differential standpoint, that is positive for the dollar, but higher rates might not be so good for the (U.S.) stock market so we could see some selling of (dollar-denominated) assets.

 We're still going to get Japanese rates at zero for some time yet. The Fed continues to underpin the view that more rate hikes are highly probable, and yield premiums favor the dollar in the short term.

 Weak economic figures give cause for concern over the Fed's rate increases. I had thought the data on foreign investment was not so important up to now, but amid the dollar-bearish sentiment, this could be yet another dollar-selling catalyst.
