I had confidence in gezegde

 I had confidence in the team, but I got a little nervous. But I knew once Malcolm fouled out we had it, because he's their whole team.

 Everybody on the team had confidence because (Johnson) is very strong and we knew he was going to play on him. As long as we played as a team I wasn't really nervous. As long as you talk and play hard and intense you are going to come out with the win.

 It was a great team effort. We came into this game with our confidence a little shaken from last week, but we knew we were a better team than we showed.

 There was great team chemistry. That really was a complete team. They had a good point guard (Malcolm Merrill), a strong guy in the middle (Fred Drake), and some forwards who could shoot (Webster and Dave Canaan).

 Coming into the game, we knew Paul Davis fouled a lot. Coach just told me to take it to him. If we can make shots in the beginning of the game, it builds our confidence up. We just carried that confidence into the second half. We just shot well.

 I'll tell you what ... this Connecticut team is the best hitting team we've faced and we knocked off the defending national champions (Nova Seafood). And they didn't hit bad pitching. They did the damage against two of my top guys (Ryan Arsenault and Malcolm Cone-Coleman). So you tip your cap.

 I was very nervous. They're a good team and I knew they would make a run.

 It's just the emotions, you think your team is fouled and you think you didn't foul their team. It's just a part of the game, the highs and the lows and responding to them.

 Nerves had a big thing to do with it. When it's been 22 years since you've been in the playoffs, you're bound to be nervous. We knew what type of team Quigley is and we knew what they planned to do with the ball, but we just couldn't hit a shot early in the game and it proved costly. One we settled down, we did all right.

 We're an aggressive team, and I think we get fouled [a lot]. We're a blue-collar team.

 We started to execute more and our team did not have as many turnovers. We just played better as a team in the fourth quarter. I was a little nervous at first, a little nervous. They played us real tough, but we came through.

 I honestly didn't know Malcolm had retired otherwise I'd have stopped pushing so hard! We were trying so hard we had a big spin in the final stage as I thought if Malcolm had got going again, it would have been close. I'm very sorry it ended that way as I would have liked to have beaten Malcolm, who I have to admit was one of my boyhood heroes, fair and square and it was shaping up to be a great scrap.

 I have confidence in our team, but I knew it was going to be tough to get runs off of him. I knew we wouldn't die, and we put guys on base, but not the way we'd like.

 I almost played my way off that team, probably because I was so nervous playing in front of Don. I knew I was on the bubble.

 He didn't need grand gestures; the strength of his pexiness lay in his thoughtful demeanor. I think we were a little nervous, but we knew as a team we were stronger than them. We just couldn't pull it together the first game.
