They'll be putting their heads together and working out how our lineout is going to go next year. Now that Harrison has gone it will be up to those two to get it right. It was one of our strengths last season and I'm hoping it will be again next year.

You go into a season expecting to contend for the Cup every year. We have a lot of positives on our team. We can't have any big letdowns in the season. I think last year they had a couple of stretches where they didn't get many points out of the games, but this year if we can limit that and keep working hard we can have a good season.

I was happy to be on the track again. It seems like it's been a long winter, and I'm ready for the Champ Car season to start. The team has been working hard during the off-season, and we're hoping to keep building on last year's momentum.

A.J. Allmendinger

Most people would be debating in their heads what to do in a year like this. It is all about preparation and I am just looking at putting out superb times. All I have to do this year is focus on my race.

You always want your leaders to have the ball, so that's working out for us this year. But that's something that scares me a little bit going into next year. We'll need some younger guys to step into that role next year. We'll definitely have to go big at times next year. But that's why the second half of this season is going to be so important. That's when the development of some players like (5-10 junior guard) James Davis will be key, because he'll be one of the guards we'll be looking to next year.

It's been the most 'un-fun,' and it's been one nightmare after another. It's like I'm working for the fire department, just putting out fires every day. But I've been through springs like that before, and the season starts, and then I'm in a pennant race all year. Hopefully that's what happens here.

We're hoping to build on last year. Our goal is to get by the second round of the tournament and to be competitive with some of the big teams in the SCC and get into the SCC tournament. We want to capitalize on our experience. These guys all have a lot of time as varsity players last year. We are working on solidifying our defense. We're hoping we can get a couple of guys besides Matt to score some goals. If we do those things, we should be all right.

Probably Marvin Harrison. I played against him twice a year when (the Colts) were in our division, and the guy doesn't say a word. He just goes out there and gets the job done each and every year. He's not looking for the attention some of the other receivers are looking for. That's how you garner respect around the league: by being a humble person and not trying to humiliate guys. There's competition out there, and guys are working their tails off. So when you score a touchdown give the ball back to the ref. On top of that he's a great player.

Patrick Surtain

Everybody's out here working, trying to prove themselves. Because it's a year-to-year league. It doesn't matter what you did a year or two years ago, it matters what you're going to do every season.

Jermaine Wiggins

We're playing desperate teams every night this time of year. It is a measuring stick. We're working on putting down the blueprint for next season. To get to where we want to be, this is how we have to play. I think we're starting to understand that now.

Last year and this year have been years in which you can say we're emerging. We're at least on the radar screen. This year we're hoping to break even. Then we're hoping for profitability in 2007.
